Imagine walking around like this in public
I'm going to optimistically assume that he doesn't speak English, and that he just picked up the shirt because it was cheap.

Apple watch rule
Reply in thread
It's a variant of the sarcastic "that couldn't be me"
e.g.: "Goofing off for a week and then cramming the night before the final exam? That couldn't be me /s." -> "Not me goofing off for a week and then cramming the night before"

Apple will honor California's 'right to repair' rules nationwide
Same thing happened with net neutrality, California put NN into law, and the rest of the country followed because it doesn't make sense to build a separate Internet for California.

$1.5 billion in estimated revenue: A look at the Massachusetts 'millionaire's tax' first year taxing the rich

There are already places (in the U.S. and other countries entirely) with far, far lower taxes than MA. Why haven't rich people moved already?

Electorialism (tempted to vote biden)
Reply in thread
You can set up for the rebellion and vote. It's not one or the other. Coalition build, do direct action, set up for a general strike... And take 30 minutes out of that to vote for someone who'll make it easier to do praxis, coalition building, etc. (not easy, but easier)

People Hate the Idea of Car-Free Cities—Until They Live in One
Reply in thread
Yeah, I hate the term "car-free". That said, even for someone who primarily uses a car, advocating for bike lanes and public transit makes sense, as the fewer people there are taking up road space and parking, the easier it is for you to drive / park.

The game is magical even with that one spoiler. Hell, I'd go so far as to say the puzzles aren't even as important as the themes and story.
You should definitely play it!

You'd think white car would be a fan of separated bike lanes...
Reply in thread
Agreed, which is why we need bike lanes so that traffic isn't slowed down.

It's disappointing when game companies place it at the bottom of the priority list
I've heard some devs say that graphics are more related to marketing than gameplay. Games with good graphics get more clicks.

Signal introduces usernames and phone number privacy.
Great feature, but if I'm reading it correctly, you won't be able to chat with someone anonymously (because your profile will still be shared). Are there good apps for that?

What are your favorite (Youtube) video's/documentaries of all time that you can watch again and again?
I'm a huge fan of "The Alt Right Playbook", which breaks down the dirty tactics the alt right uses to recruit people.
Also a huge fan of "In search of a flat Earth", which looks at conspiracy theories, how they evolve, why people believe in them, and why "the shape of the Earth might actually be the least relevant part of the flat Earth conspiracy".

Or even if they don't annihilate you, it still gives them so much of an advantage that any future games are biased in their favor.
