Chinese opium den circa 1890
The number of comments glorifying this is shocking. Opium/laudanum/morphine/heroin is brutally addictive, life ruining, and opium dens were places of abject misery and horror.

I had a 1988 Scirocco 16V. I loved that car but it was not reliable. The tacked on AC and accessory belt system was horrific. It ate timing belts and wheel bearings. The best VW was a dead simple model, the Rabbit or Quantum/Fox chassis with maybe AC if you felt adventurous.

You're correct. The worst thing is just that buttons are in different places, and I just look up those places on the Internet because support is good.

Promised myself I will support them after they go stable. They kept their promise and so did I
Seriously everyone pushes Immich so hard I'm a little suspicious of it now :D
Edit: all right, all right, I installed it. It has a thing about not uploading all the pictures I give it, some error out. I have a feeling it is due to the library being on a NAS share.

The White House Rose Garden was replaced by pavement
Of everything, this is low on the list of things to be annoyed about. While there were probably better ways, this is an area used for gatherings and DC being DC, it is pretty marshy and unusable as a lawn. There have been plans for a long time to do something like this.

I could use some serious advice as to whether or not to do this
Here's the serious advice: whenever you have to think about it like this, don't do it.

I wouldn't scan shit from a website. Random QR codes are a security risk. Just won't visit that website.

I worked for a huge huge company you've totally heard of. We had a large event where we were all given bells and mallets and told to ring them as a team to make beautiful music. My coworker beat his bell flat.

I saw Slayer in 2011 at Fun Fun Fun Fest. I'd never listened to them but they put on a hell of a show. Melted my face, and they were tight. Then I went back to not listening to them.
