I referenced pinky and the brain today at work, and my younger co worker just stared at me like wtf. Bloody whippersnappers these days!

Got called into work today, did some shuffling of things to make it work. Good call because it was crusiy as and great crew of people today.

Also means I'll get a 4 day weekend this weekend pewww.

Also, went to doctor Saturday morning cos throat was still sore and I was miserable after 2+ weeks. Doctor was awesome. Swabbed my throat which I got a text today was all clear and gave me some super grunty anti biotics and anti inflammatories.

Immediately felt improvement and now by day 3, the pain is gone, swelling is gone down and I'm feeling normal again! Soooo glad to be past all that.

Apparently had covid and also throat infection simultaneously. Really sucked haha. Do not recommend.

Picked up a 7kg ham from cheaper buy miles for $25, will portion and freeze.

Also a ton of non alcoholic "booze" cos I'm doing dry July

Bloody heated throw blanket died after only 6 months :( I made sure I got a "good" one too. Just checked online and luckily it has a 3 year warranty..

Finally made it to ACMI with the kids today, wow I can't believe I've never been there before! One of the best museum experiences I've had, we all loved it. Then hit up Minotaur for a squiz and finished at sushi train for a bite. Great day out 👍
