I am a language professional. We tend to believe firmly in descriptivism. Language is fluid and you can do whatever you want with it. There is no right or wrong. Nothing really upsets me except for when people say ‘an historical X’ or ‘an horrific X’ but even then it just makes me scrunch my nose up.

But there is one thing that I cannot accept. One thing that makes stop what I’m doing and just want to scream in disgust ‘WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU YOU CLOWN??’

And it’s when Americans refer to pasta as ‘noodles’

Especially if they call it a ‘lasagne noodle’

Dear readers, I have figured our why despite all the meds and other morning rituals I felt like a fork had been stabbed in my brain and all hope was lost.

The carefully made mocha this morning, I have just discovered, was but a mere hot chocolate - with the freshly ground coffee still waiting patiently in its canister, aeropress dutifully washed of yesterday's hasty activities but not a second time... I'm not sure how to resolve these heinous vicious cycles where a lack of coffee causes a lack of coffee and therefore the end of the world.

Anyway, the situation is currently being rectified and I remain mortified at this horrific act of self-abuse

4

I almost never have instant coffee. I make mine with an aeropress. I think it makes sense that my brain was melting down without actual caffeine this morning because a. dependency and b. caffeine can help relieve head pain anyway and c. additional pain/bleargh from neck. Also that time of the month

3

Ah ok. I go between instant to ground coffee back to instant but I’ve been drinking a lot of instant lately.

I have heard of people who go through coffee withdrawals and it normally results in headaches and migraines.

Im hope it wasn’t too bad for you. Im thanks to your post I made a real ground coffee today.

How’s your neck after last night?

I do have to say while the daily thread is fairly active here, other posts outside of it isn’t as lively as that on Reddit.

geebus, I've been watching the Site Inspection yt channel, it's a guy who does inspections of new houses. It is making me rethink the outer suburbs that were built in the 60s and 70s. Those houses might not be modern and in Boronia or Melton but at least they were built properly with the correct materials.

I don't know enough about it but it seems there is rampant corruption, there is use of unqualified labour being paid under the table, non spec construction materials smuggled into the country .

Anything new made with concrete scares me now, I've seen how they use rubbish as filler or foundations. One place even had fake permeable concrete paths.

And it's not cheap, people are paying $500,000 and more just to be ripped off.

We need government inspectors again.

15
aussie.zone

I live in Melton and when we had the termite man come out he was really impressed with the way our house was built. Plenty of room under the house, lots of ventilation, no damp spots etc. He said that he rarely has problems up here because of the way the houses are built. By comparison some of the worst and most frequent call outs he had was around Bundoora and Greensborough areas.

9

union workers, good construction materials, government inspectors 👍

6

At a family lunch one of my rich hoighty toighty cousins was boasting about her soon-to-be-built $750,000 house in some new sparkly pop-up suburb of Brisbane and one of my uncles, a man of many trades, told her she was a fool for it all and her parents to for encouraging it. Hilariously he went on to predict every problem she's had to date with the house.

7

My partner is obsessed with those videos. We have a 70s house in the outer suburbs and tradies always comment how solidly well built it is. I once lived in a new build and the front door, even when locked, would often just… pop open 🙃

5

Been watching these, I think someone here must have linked him? But it's scary to see the absolute incompetence, lack of ethics and general greediness of builders.

Building has standards for a reason and they rely on the fact that most people aren't gonna notice untightened bolts behind the plasterboard, incorrect gutter locations, or uncovered gaps between surfaces on the roof. You end up paying through the nose for guaranteed mould exposure and rotting carpets.

5

Thanks for mentioning this, I love this sort of thing. I liked the US guy who checks foundations and retaining walls and posts on Imgur but always wanted some local content. Mr Peeler had a job in demolition later in life, and used to decry the awesome classic solidly built houses that were razed to the ground in order to hastily and shoddily assemble crappy townhouses and dog box units.

2

So I've been watching a few more videos. It's starting to really upset. So many people ripped off. This is where they live or hoped to live, paid for with really hard earned money. 😭

2

Day 14 of exercise program. First did a load of washing and hung it around the flat because I thought we were going to cop a downpour. Then I took the Mini Peelers to Coburg farmers market and we wandered around tasting and buying things. Then we went to Barkly Square and got master Peeler a new Xbox controller and miss mini Peeler a Snorlax plushy (she says Snorlax is her spirit animal but she's the most energetic of all of us!).

After lunch we came home and I realised the ruse of shitty weather and did another two loads of washing. If it gets wet I don't care anyway as the essentials are inside. Then I did my exercises, and boy was it a push to get it done. Mr Peeler came in and tried to watch, which I hate. It's one of the reasons I've never done a gym membership or anything like that. I hate being looked at while I'm exercising, and these places with their floor to ceiling windows and mirrors are my version of hell. Nobody needs to see my flabulous efforts!

I came from one of those families, you know; mum's fat, dad's fat, the cat's fat, the dog's fat, the kid is fat. At several points in my life I've gotten "work fit" and gone down to a size 10-12, but somehow I didn't notice or revel in it because I looked in the mirror and still saw that unsmiling fat kid, looking back at me. I'm determined to enjoy what I can be this time!

12
aussie.zone

Was a fat kid all through my teens. Didn't even approach my natural size until my late 30s early 40s. When this happened, it took no effort. Didn't even notice until about 5 years later. There is still time for you to be you.

Recent canned fish reviews:
Brunswick Smoked Kippers (herring) - my first time trying these, holy shit my mind was blown. They are so delicious. Maybe a touch on the salty side but I'm fine with that. Completely different to canned tuna. Moist and soft, not so 'meaty'. would recommend.
King Oscar Briesling Sardines in Olive oil - best canned sardines I've had. Briesling means they are small. They still have their tails on, many in a can, akin to whitebait. Milder than you probably expect sardines to be. Exceptional
Sole Mare smoked Mackerel in olive oil - I didn't realise it would be so similar to canned tuna. It felt like a high quality canned tuna. It's in large fillets, no bones. Not bad, but not my favourite - just due to personal taste
Safcol 'spanish tapas style' squid in olive oil - first time trying canned squid. Better than I was expecting. Kept a firm texture. Simple squid flavour. Didn't feel the need to add any sauce or anything, before I knew it the can was gone and I was wanting more.
John West Mussels in Galacian sauce - texture maybe a little softer than I'd like. Mussel taste was there and quite pleasant. Sauce was tomatoey and sweet. Definitely too much sauce for too few mussels though. I'd happily eat it again but felt a bit cheated by the sauce/mussel ratio

11
aussie.zone

This is brilliant. A review for the peoples. I'd like to add the abomination that is canned crab. It doesn't look like crab or taste like crab and in fact it's often not even crab so don't be fooled.

Any leftover sauce or oil from our seafood friends in a tin can be deliciously mopped up with some crusty bread.

7
aussie.zone

I do not intend to try canned crab 😂 sounds horrible. I have been scarred by canned salmon in the past too so I'm working up to it.

3

The thing with canned salmon is what you are going to do with it. Red salmon has a more intense flavour. Good for cooking with. Pink salmon is subtle in flavour. Good for sandwiches. Red is more expensive. You can also get boneless which is more expensive again. Bones are completely edible in salmon but too many is off putting.

3
aussie.zone

So don't fool yourself that it is crab. Treat it as a substance entire unto itself. I don't mind it stirred through rice to accompany a sauce. It blends nicely with plain jasmine rice. I did up a combo of jasmine rice and wild rice, stirred through some tinned crab and seasoned it with lemon zest and long pepper. It worked and was nice. My sister grabbed all the leftovers and took them home with her, which doesn't often happen.

3

I use it as a filling for vol-au-vents. Lots of cracked pepper or/and lemon pepper is involved.

Highly recommend trying kedgeree with smoked kippers. Very satisfying breakfast

2

Kedgeree is a traditional British dish with origins from Indian cuisine. It's a hearty breakfast or brunch meal usually made with flaked fish (typically smoked haddock), boiled rice, parsley, hard-boiled eggs, curry powder, butter or cream, and occasionally sultanas. It's rich in flavor, with the curry adding a nice warmth to the dish. Popularly eaten in the Victorian era, kedgeree continues to be enjoyed today!

Did some more voluteer work today. Public transport anxiety relieved. It was fine. Had a job interview straight after and I got it! I was lucky that I got my shit together when I did and started applying for jobs just to get into the habit. It's average pay and humble work which will pay the bills. The owner is great and at least it's award wage and she looks after her workers. Potentially will start working locally as well in time so would be able to walk to work. Mostly queer staff, lots of trans people apparently. Not sure how great that will be yet, but at least I won't face transphobia at work. It's going to be hard work and it won't do me any harm to do a job I can at least leave at work even if I spend the time looking at my watch. My only worry is that my back is starting to hurt but I spent a lot of time standing on hard floors this weekend. Being biologically female now means it will take longer to get work fit than in the past, but that's ok too. Start Wednesday so I have some time to do some stretching and get into my warm up routine. It's a fucking relief to not have to start spending too much of my savings.

I had a very decent music career for a long time, but I've had issues with most of that time. It is run by mysoginistic cunts and when I stepped out of that and moved into nightclubs they were still run by mysgonistic cunts. My last employer was a total wolf in sheeps clothing. At least I have a real connection with my new boss. We worked for the same queer magazine in different cities over 20 years ago. Back when those jobs were very low pay and we did them for the community moreso than having a disposable income. Now I'm in recovery I also want to step away from the alcohol industry. It feels kinda inauthentic to be so adamant about being sober for life and then profiting from alcohol sales. At least at this point and to take sobriety seriously I can't step foot in a bar for a while.

So this cat alarm and getting early nights have paid off. Thanks kitties. Couldn't have done this without you. Little miracles. They get extra playtime tomorrow. That'll do for today. Thx for reading

Ok ok ok. After a disastrous start to the day things have progressed a bit. Actually got a tiny bit of gardening done after neglecting the balcony for months . tidied up the dead stuff, improved the staking on the manzano chilli, shuffled pots around - including the very sickly and cold curry big mama leaf plant to a more sheltered spot (it was getting depressing to look at. And it'll come back in spring.).

I won't even be at home for most of the next month but I went ahead and sowed some coriander and garlic chives, and have soaked some snow pea and sweet pea seeds to sow tomorrow, because what the hey. They'll look after themselves, kind of. Everything's had a very thorough water + feed if needed, and I'm amazed at how relatively well that manzano is doing despite all the neglect. Truly a cool climate chillo, definitely a good choice for Melbourne. (e: yes it's related to rocoto).

All that and a whole lot of staring into space have improved things as well as cleaning the kitchen and having a long overdue shower with hair/scalp cleanse. The sun has made a big difference too. Body has calmed the fuck down and is healing itself.

Neck still hurts but I'll call off my trip to the 'rat tomorrow and take it easy, hopefully I'll be right as rain by Monday. I have work to catch up on but today is for total relaxation

I’m so impressed with you guys and your chillis. Chilli and capsicum are one of those plants that I’m just not good at caring for.

I got a bit of time out in the garden too! Mostly I just weeded and swept up a big chunk of the leaves that the maple and the ornamental pears dropped - this place has 3 pear trees and 2 maples. I initially tried to keep on top of cleaning up the leaves as they dropped but I was fighting a losing battle, so I just left them and waited until they’d dropped all their leaves. We’re getting on 4 fortnight’s worth of green bins filled, with probably 1 more to go.

But check out my broccolis and my cabbage 😍

Try growing rocoto chillis. They’re pretty well-suited to the Melbourne climate, produce lots of fruit, and keep bearing for years.

5

I can't believe I didn't start growing them earlier. Another cold-tolerant seemingly tropical edible plant a friend of mine is successfully growing from cuttings is babaco. I can't wait until it fruits but it might need a couple more years

1
aussie.zone

I'm the total opposite! Chillies come relatively easy to me (OK, I confess I have poor luck with capsicums). But HOW GOOD ARE YOUR BRASSICAS?!?!?! Please tell me your secrets! How do you get them looking so lush without being ravaged by caterpillars and/or possums? I've only grown cabbages once - on an extremely fertile shared plot where you'd be hard pressed to kill anything (and they were still a few caterpillars), and I only successfully grew broccoli once at my old place but it needed to be de-caterpillared damn near every morning. And then when the broccoli got just large enough to harvest they were poleaxed overnight 😭

Absolutely love love love your veggie patch and I see you've got a nice crop of broad beans coming up too

3
omoikirireply
aussie.zone

Thank youuuuu!!

Possums, thankfully (and touch wood) aren’t a problem here. There is some kind of animal that started having a munch on my plants, but I’ve worked out that if there are sweet peas, that it beelines for that and leaves everything else alone, so I have a small part of my flowerbed stocked with sacrificial sweet peas haha. It works so far. Slugs are a problem though, way more than caterpillars. Every morning I go and inspect it with my cuppa and wipe the underside of the leaves. There’s almost always little caterpillar eggs on them, so I nip them in the bud before they can become an issue. There’s not much I can do about the slugs and snails though. I put the gel barrier down and keep it mulched because they apparently don’t like crossing mulch, but if I go out there at night I can almost always pick two or three out of the bed. The broccoli heads are starting to get big enough now that I’ll start protecting them at night: you just have to wrap a bit of foil over the top at night and take it off in the morning. It stops anything from getting to the actual broccoli.

I do have broad beans too! And sugar snap peas. I don’t have much luck with beans and peas either. I never get more than a handful of sugar snap peas, even though the plant itself is really healthy. It’s my first time growing broad beans and I head they were easy. They’re going really well and again, the plant is really healthy, heaps of flowers, but no actual beans, so idk 🤷‍♀️

2

O wise one of the brassicaceae, I am deeply grateful for the sharing of your sacred knowledge! 🙇 No seriously I just figured it was utterly not worth the time to grow brassicas unless you had an enclosure. I am just gobsmacked at how well you've picked the caterpillar eggs off the leaves every time - and with so many plants. I used to do it with my morning cuppa too at my old house, but either I attract mutant caterpillars or I'm just not very thorough because my broccoli leaves were far less intact than yours. (and at least 30% of what I planted didn't make it to the flowering stage)

But the foil! I had no idea about the foil. I will definitely give that a go whenever I next try growing broccoli or cauliflower. Thank you for sharing that tip, I can't believe I'd never heard of it before.

I tend to have better luck with snow peas than sugar snap. And with certain varieties over others. There's this dwarf snow pea I grow in pots on the balcony and when it's late winter to early summer and the specific spot I plant it gets full but not overly intense sun, I get heaps of peas. I confess though I've never made anything with them because I've eaten every single one raw off the vine, they're so good 😻

Broad beans in my experience are easy, in that they're not as prone to pests and diseases, and as long as they're growing close enough to each other that you can sort of tie them in a bundle with a stake or fence for support, (and even then they'll still bear fruit if they're flopping about) they're pretty much set and forget. But they can take their time. I had given up on mine at my old place: sown in early autumn, they were growing directly in the ground in painstakingly cultivated yet still very clayey soil where nothing would germinate - just kept slowly growing for months with great leaves and eventually flowers but no apparent beans, so I kind of forgot about them until I was cleaning out the garden in October preparing to leave... and holy shit when I went to cut them down I was just drowning in pods that were all growing on the inside of the patch! I ended up taking my whole harvest to a friend's place and we just shelled them for 2 hours. We ended up with like 1 solid kilo of fresh, depodded beans. It was very satisfying.

1
aussie.zone

That chillo is doing extremely well jeez! I'd never really heard of them. Looks like they pack a bit of punch too.

E. ohh rocoto

5
aussie.zone

Yeah apparently there's some slight difference between rocoto and manzano (variability of spiciness? Rocoto grows further south?) But both are Capsicum pubescens (heh I said pubes). this one said manzano on the label which also rates it a 4/10 for spiciness, but I haven't tried any yet so we'll find out soon I guess.

Rocoto grows to 2 metres and has yellow fruit, manzano grows to 1 metre and has red fruit. Both have lovely purple flowers and big black seeds. I think the rocoto is hotter. They are both good to grow.

2

Ooh then I'm pretty sure mine is Manzano. Doesn't seem as tall as my friend's plants that they've said are Rocoto. I have a scotch bonnet and a medium sized Thai chilli that are both very hot so I actually hope this will be mild and sweet

Fucking hell, one of my students coughed in my face today. Guess it's time to stock up on OJ and pray to God that I don't get sick, because I have no bulk billing doctors nearby and work wants a doctor's cert (although subcontractor, so no sick leave anyway).

Goddamn, some days I just wanna quit.

9

Gross.

Last night at dinner a bloke kept coughing at the table next to us. It got progressively chestier… It might have been just a cough, but he didn’t even bother covering his mouth. It’s like we’ve learned nothing.

2

I think the cats are expecting me to put something on the teev and stretch out on the couch so that either one of them can have a nap on me.
Instead I'm sitting up with a podcast on doing a crossstich project for a friend's birthday (well taking a break now for dins).

Quick piccy from the point lonsdale lighthouse looking west over the back beach towards ocean grove:

https://imgur.com/6zvKu0w

it's actually rated equal most hazardous beach in Vic. If you jumped in on a day like today and swam a few metres out you'd be lucky to make it back in.

9
aussie.zone

Yeah. I used to go body boarding there by myself 20 years ago. And down at 13th too. I have realised that this was actually a very stupid thing to do. Especially 13th actually...have you seen the rock shelf there at low tide? I had no idea that existed. Very stupid as I said.

3

I've been at work an hour, and the dread is palpable. It appears my team has also been called back to the office starting next rotation, and WFH will no longer be an option, so that's a kick in the teeth.

9
aussie.zone

Ahhh shit, I think I really did something to my neck last night. Left side hurts like a mf, more than yesterday. Not really sure how to soothe it, I've never pulled something in my neck like this before. Of course it's got to be on the weekend...

9
aussie.zone

Good tip with the heat pack, thanks. I have so much I wanted to do today but alas :/

3
aussie.zone

Grab some Fisiocrem and lather it on and around the pain. I have regular neck pain and this is my go-to. Also, neurofen will be more effective if the pain is inflammation based.

3

I'd figure it's a pain/injury you're quite familiar with! Yeah, I go for nurofen 90% of the time, it's helped mask the worst of it. Thanks heaps for the gek recommendation, I might give that a whirl if it's what works for you

e: interesting that it has St John's Wort as an ingredient. I wonder if topical application would interfere with an antidepressant regime

F. happens to me sometimes, tweak something in there by a seemingly random short movement and it seizes up. usually takes a couple of days to settle down.

no idea what causes it or how to fix it, hope this helps

I guess I should've read the release notes for the mid 30s edition of this body

currently fumbling around for a hotfix, teaches me to get too excited about updates

😞 I did this two days ago. Upper back/lower neck area still really sore. Waiting for the chemist to open this morning to go get some voltaren

3
aussie.zone

Think I might get me some voltaren too if this doesn't abate in a few hours. This is like a pinched nerve feeling. The nurofen is helping for now....

2

That must be so nice. The nurofen has dulled it for now but it still feels uncomfortable underneath the analgesia and now my eye sockets kind of hurt... v_v

3

I have successfully removed my old mattress from the bed, moved it close to the front door to easily pop outside for the recycling people, put the new box mattress on the bed and managed to flip it up the right way. Which was a bit harder than expected. Turns out when they recommend using two people, it's for a reason.

9

It sure is! I wanted an eco as possible mattress. Coconut fiibre and wool etc weigh loads more than acrylic muck.

Yes it was, a Sleeping Duck. It seems so simple... It had better be comfy because I'm keeping it regardless.

4

They're godamn amazing, love mine. 3 years old and still great. previous brand new sleepyhead POS was already nearly unsleepable at this age

1

Back is absolutely cooked (physio said it feels like concrete). He alao said that today and tomorrow will be agony for me.

Trying home remedies and some heat

Enjoying the Foundation TV series (Jared Harris is such a great actor)

Hope everyone is having a peaceful Saturday

Bets, now taking bets. How minutes equals an any? Excellent odds, payment in chocolate

Here I am, sitting on my bed overthinking what to wear to brunch with a friend tomorrow. The criteria is cute, warm, and semi casual. Lol.

I left home a bit too early... Need to get to St Kilda before 1 or 1:30 at the latest and already at Oakleigh. Oh well, I'd rather be there way too early and having to wait rather than being late and having to uber.

Also got a haircut by my mate and my head doesn't feel too heavy anymore.

7
Duenanreply
aussie.zone

Better than being late. Sometimes weekend traffic can be quite heavy and I forget that sometimes.

5

Yeah I got here a bit too early, but I can never really tell with bus replacements tbh. So I'd rather wait around for however long than stress tf out and be late.

4
aussie.zone

Usually a haircut done by a mate means you fell asleep first after a night out on the piss.

5

Hahaha, no they came over to give me a trim. Now that I work weekdays I can't go up to see them.

4

Tax return sorted ✅ getting an alright amount that will definitely help with my adhd stuff. So that's a relief.

7

Oh yeah ready to watch new Mission Impossible tonight! Bring on the mindless explosions and action scenes!

7

First week of roster change, Tuesday to Fridays. God it's good being able to have a life again :) got so many plans coming up

7

Uck, the rain has started and its still extra windy outside. The morning dog walk was cancelled (much to Mr Woof's dissapointment) due to safety concernd, but I still have to go out there and drive to work. Part of me wants to just call in sick!

7

I had reply-comments collapsed by default on Relay so it suits me, but I do think it should be opt-in.

6
aussie.zone

Hey, that comments thing has changed again... I'm not seeing pre-collapsed reply threads anymore.

6
aussie.zone

Same here.

I suppose a good compromise would be any comment with >x responses gets collapsed after the xth response (but you still see the first <x responses). if that makes sense the coffee isn't working yet

When I refresh the page it shows the login thing for a split second but then it resolves - I'm guessing it doesn't for you?

Jerboa was doing that for me yesterday. Not today. No update to the app has come through, so I'm guessing it was server side.

Seagoon's New To Me Movies. Today was *Silver Linings Playbook. *

I think the movie is about coping with loss . How do people react to painful life events like betrayal, unexpected death of a loved one, loss of job and status. Seems to me the answer is love and kindness.

So well acted and I love the depictions of male culture and male friendships. 4 hobbits :)

6

I did 23 floors, 10km and 13k steps today, according to the Fitbit! I thought Saturdays were meant to be for rests

6

I've got one mini peeler who is really keen to get back and see their friends, but the other is all "noooooooo!"

Poor Bot #001 😔

Will they blow back in when the wind changes, like Botty Poppins?

On an unrelated note, anyone know where you get coin banks these days? The tin I had is on its way out, but Officeworks doesn't seem to sell them any more (they used to have a rather fun coin-sorting one, but that also seems to be gone, more's the pity).

6

Hmm I usually see coin banks in $2 shops (or whatever they’re called nowadays) but that said I haven’t been in one in forever so not totally sure!

6

I echo stardustingss with the $2 shop answer. I've seen decorative/novelty types there, and I bought a unicorn head one for a child's birthday gift. I've also made my own out of a metal tin with plastic lid, like a Sustagen tin. It was handy for hiding money in the kitchen.. until someone wanted a Sustagen and found my money.

4

ok pain is slowly going away which is good resumed my life by going to the farmer's market [awesome as usual], sadly the knife guy and the stew guy were absent, the mushroom guy was there XD

6

Windy in Coburg. At the farmers market a stallholder went to give me a sample of cordial and a gust of wind blew the cup away!

I keep getting told it’s going to rain, but so far there’s been nothing

2
aussie.zone

Ahhh yup, that'd do it. The BoM isn't perfect. We've had several heavy showers/storms this morning. I don't mind though, its 11.8 degrees and feels like 1, so this has resulted in a 2.5 hour long lap cuddle with my old girl.

I would like to subscribe to this service too please and thank you.

Just started raining on me as I walked to my car and I swear it was just shards of ice.

2

It’s been threatening rain all morning but so far there’s been none of it here

2

I, I guess I'm frustrated
Thinking about all the places I should've been by now
And I'm, endlessly waiting
Feel like a barrel of dynamite waiting for a flame to come 'round (come 'round)
I need a little spark
A light in bitter dark
I think I'm ready to go

Anyone know of a photography community that has a tech question type thread...? I have a question regarding ai upscaling. I made this comment on a photo thread, and ai upscaling might be worth looking into... Reposting because I'm still salty Rob....

I travelled Argentina for a month back in 2011. I had my DSLR with me with new lenses and took something like 6000 photos of iguazu, salta, Patagonia etc... Stored them all on a external hard drive when I got home. One day, a friend of mine accidentally knocked the drive over, and it failed. Lost all the photos. I only have an album of a few hundred I uploaded to FB at the time, so they're all really low res ones that I redownloaded from FB. Moral = Make backups.. Multiple backups.

4

I have finished Tears. I liked it, but I didn’t love it like breath of the wild. It was a good game, but it didn’t capture botw’s magic.

4

Pretty good, thanks for asking! They're more comfortable than the temporary ones I had in and actually feel like real teeth. So happy air can pass between them unlike the temps. The only weird thing is that it feels 'crowded' in my mouth because I have 2 more teeth than I've had my whole life.

I'm still not used to seeing them in the mirror though. I am curious if they look big and fake to other people. The teeth themselves look great and natural but just in my face it looks odd to me.

7

Where o where has my delivery gone? That 3 hour delay I was txt still should have meant before 5 yesterday. Not impressed.

Not sure if anyone else figured out why my boost app is still working (I only did from a post on the boost subreddit), apparently moderators are currently exempt from all the API changes, even if your sub has like no members lmfao. I'm a mod on r/modlimit and a private sub I made and planned to open up about a tv show, but I haven't finished watching ot yet and don't want spoilers Soni never did. I've performed like 10 mod actions in the 2 years I've had an account, but apparently that counts 🤣

If you use a third party app, go create a sub, maybe it'll keep working for you too.
