I'm looking for games that make me feel small and insignificant
Kingdom Come: Deliverence. Heard so much good about this game. Open world, you need to train to actually become decent or good at anything at all. Might be a perfect fit.

What is a way to keep the main system as safe as possible aside from getting a completely separate computer for just pirated software?
I don't know where you guys get your stuff but if you have reasons to be this causious I would suggest having your important stuff somewhere else instead of the other way arround.

There are free pc games as well, and paid ones. Free movies, and paid ones. Heck you can probably get a car for free, but most people prefer to pay for one. You can use the free apps all you want.

Once per quarter seems more manageable and doesnt water it out. I don't think we need it once per month.

Introducing Steam Deck OLED - November 16
Very, very good. Pricing seems okay as well. Glad the specs are the same so games will work on both versions. Saving straight performance upgrades for the next version seems like the right move.
Very interested in upgrading but I can't justify it to my wallet. I love my Steam Deck as is and often use a portable external screen with it anyhow.

Would be a pretty slow party if you ask me. One drink every couple of weeks. Yay!

You don't want YouTube + YouTube music but you want Spotify + YouTube? I abandoned Spotify the second YouTube Premium was introduced in my country. I loved Spotify. I started using it back when it was invite only. YouTube Music is worse for sure, but it's good enough and a lot cheaper.

How do you moderate yourself?
Multiplayer games in general are hard to regulate. MMO's, Mobas, FPS, ARPGs. This games are designed to swallow weeks of your life before you react. When I stopped playing these type of games it didn't become as much of a problem to regulate my gaming.
Write down what an optimal day for someone your age, in your living area, looks like. Weekly activities. Exercise. Etc. Start implementing the we things into your life at a pace that isn't to slow but not too fast either.
Set goals what most of your days should consist of. Most days. Don't set routines that are too nailed down. Don't go overboard. Excersise three times a week? Two days need to be back to back but the third can be anytime during the week? Things like that.
Work this into your routine. Take one step at a time.
If I regret one thing at the age of 37 it would be not having some kind of exercise in my weekly routine from my early 20s. I would be in sooo much better shape, have more energy, be more alert.
Balance in everything is key.

The Steam Deck, nay Linux, is crying out for an official GeForce Now app
Is it now? I don't hear anything. Gimme an official Xbox Game Pass app tho! Sure it's easy enough to work arround but official apps are guud!

Yeah imagine wanting to stand by your work and say, I did this! Being proud. Better release some sketchy ass half done app and lose all your community to w/e is already released. He wants to do this right. Probably not his intent to sure take his time sometimes. Save this comment for when you have been waiting for 20 minutes at McDonalds.
You can order 15 Big Macs and wait for Boost, or buy Sync. It's up to you.

Any news on how far along Boost is?

We all agree. But since statement was it should be out, an announcement from the dev that he needs more time would remove questions. I think we all understand. And we all want the best app possible. But its only natural that questions are asked when estas aren't met. Nothing more, nothing less.

[Adam Crafton - T2] Big sense tonight an intolerable pressure building at Manchester United and not difficult to imagine major conversations now being had as to whether the club can push ahead...
Yeah I will have a real hard time watching games if Greenwood runs arround the pitch. I don't wanna have a sour taste in my mouth watching my team. Damn it.

For all the doubters that Linux gaming is smoother and faster.
Reply in thread
Linux gaming is a little hit or miss. Some games have a performance boost. Some are about the same. And some games perform worse. This is the reality. And this is what should be expected.
Your post is still true for your specific hardware and this specific game, with these specific drivers, but let's not go crazy here. Linux is good, yes. Fantastic even, on the Steam Deck. On PC most people are better off sticking with Windows, especially if you play a couple of competitive multiplayer titles. Or if you want to stream games from one device to another in house. Or if you have limited time and just want shit to work. Linux is getting closer, but the out of the box experience need to become way better and I don't doubt it will sooner rather than later.

Honey, I'm home!
Yeah. Actually good pricing. Imagine that huh?
Everyone who paid 120 dollars for an app that shouldn't be named has to feel real good right now.

Game prices are too low, says Capcom exec
I remember getting Donkey Kong on release for the Super Nintendo and it was more expensive than most games are right now, 66 usd. Name one thing that has the same price in 2023 that it did I 1994. It's insane.

Sabotage Studio initially projected sales of 250,000 copies of Sea of Stars in the first year. They hit that target within just a week.
