[Final Update] My insurance won't cover UTIs for males. Yes, I'm in the US.
Sounds like discrimination based on sex. A clear violation of the Civil Rights act of 1964.

Trump's claim that he could end Ukraine's war in a day is a 'beautiful' thought but not true, Zelenskyy says
Trump would just cut support for Ukraine so they have to surrender.

Reddit Goes Nuclear, Removes Moderators of Subreddits That Continued To Protest
Reply in thread
I disagree. You don't protest just because you think the other side will capitulate. That's what discussion is for. Protesting is for when there is no discussion. Regardless of if it results in your desired outcome, it's still an effect tactic to support a cause and damage an adversary.
I hope Lemmy doesn't devolve into the same cesspit of reddit where people pride themselves on doing nothing.

You can now get reddit posts on lemmy via RSS, without any ads ;)
That's pretty cool, but I think we should focus on leaving that platform altogether.

Sad to see Reddit go

Even if they reneged on everything, I still wouldn't go back. The problem with Reddit at this point is the quality of its users. It's next to impossible to find any kind of legitimate discussion because everything is buried under reddit-comedy and virtue signaling. Most of the major subreddits have just become political tools for their mods. It scares me thinking how curated the posts are there.

How do I block entire instances?

Dang. I don't mind seeing nsfw content. I just don't want entire instances dedicated to it showing up in my feed.

Lemmy growth curve
Lemmy is where it's at. I'm noticing an insane jump in quality. It feels like everyone on reddit wants to be a comedian or repeat the same thing 1000 times just to show they fit in.

Done with Twitter and Reddit
The quality of content on reddit has deteriorated at an astounding pace. It feels like everyone is just repeating the same thing to get upvotes... and upvoting people who repeat the same thing. I'm kind of glad it exists now as a containment zone. The people who want higher quality content can move to the fediverse. Those who don't can stay right where they are.

Do you think a community like r/TrueChristian or r/AskAChristian would be welcome on lemmy.world?
They should be allowed. Whether or not they're welcomed is up to the individual.
