Why does the US put so much emphasis on high school and also nostalgia for high school?
That's not something specific to the US. If you chose a manga or anime at random, it'd most likely revolve around a highschooler.

Interview via MS Teams? How about NO.
The punchline is that the guy hiding is hallucinating the recruiters. Companies aren't actually hiring anyone for these jobs, they're just posting them online to make it seem like they are.

authenticity problem
I feel bad for David. I initially thought his stuff was AI, too. But then after going to his website and seeing the decades of work he's been producing, it's nothing short of amazing art.
It's not really a surprise that AI mimics his work, it's all been creative commons from the beginning, so it was likely one of the first things to be thrown into the slop machine.

You'll need to venture out of the microsocopic Lemmy echo chamber to find them.
My mom, like 90% of people, is very tech illiterate. She spends hours mindlessly scrolling through Tik Tok with her phone speaker on max. Lemmy users are basically the complete opposite.

Which Switch II games are actually worth picking up?
$500 for the console, $70-$100 per game which never go on sale, $20-$80 annual subscription for online service. All before tax.
I'm just gonna wait until there's an emulator, assuming I'm still interested at that point.

Knowing how to ask and not being abrasive is really helpful.
