What I find fucked up in the first place, is how these business models don't even work in the first place. Like why in the hell am I spending so much on a trip and it's not even profitable in the first place.

The fediverse heavily leans towards men, as does Reddit opposed to TikTok and Instagram where those social media apps lean towards women. From what I understand men outnumber women 10:1 on the fediverse.

We are still in it's infancy, the thing is even Reddit used to be this bad when it comes to that. I believe there's here's a certain point of critical mass that sites like these have to reach before you have a sustaining women population. But as the fediverse grows women focused communities are certain to grow albeit at a slower rate.

With that said keep expectations in check; while there's no reason women can't be as involved and active as men are it seems that sites focused on text-based forum discussions has a broader appeal towards males. Don't understand why that is but it just means that it will lean towards males, so the demographics will always be skewed.

Seriously, this is one of the biggest things that we do not need to come over from Reddit.

Also it's funny to hear about unfairness in media or Hollywood. Such as women are expected to be beautiful and not be over 30. There's a lot you can say about it, but something about it makes me feel it's deeply hypocritical.

Seriously, and cycling isn't really even that strenuous. Like the fact that people actually believe this makes it all the more clear why obesity rates are sky high. Like do really people not understand how bodies work?

Yes Trump will annihilate whatever semblance of democracy we have left in the United States. He plans on suspending congress, consolidating the courts, and expanding his ability of the executive branch without any checks and balances. He will begin to supercede democratic state governments, and the courts will rule in his favor or he will make them. He will sack any military official that doesn't align with his agenda, and deploy them domestically, even if just to instill fear in dissidents. Furthermore he'll transfer full control of the federal reserve to his office. Slowly eroding our constitutional rights and then he'll even extend his presidential term by another ten years.

This is what you will get if you vote for Trump.

Keep in mind, there are many valid reasons for tracking or things that can be utilized to track or fingerprint you. I however feel there's no transparency, there is often no basis for trust for these websites and I feel they share/sell data with reckless abandon so it is from that angle I approach issues like these from.
