Unsubscribe link from their emails takes you to this. You then to need to sign in with email and password (I don't know my password) to manage preference. I just want all out!
I just report spam and block these types. It's a them problem, not a me problem.

Brought my Chromecast with Google TV to a Hotel, TV is framed.
I gave up on this a long time ago. Phone screens are big enough, or a laptop if you own one, and ear buds. Done.

My first E-Mail server
You're in for a world of hurt. Email security is a pain in the ass. I used to do this full time and I'm so glad I don't have to anymore.
Not trying to discourage you, it's fun, it's cool, but it can be a real PITA.

Everything I need is still in in the old settings windows that haven't changed in 23 years

I still extensively use:
Win+R
ncpa.cpl
It's still the only way I know how to easily and quickly change my NIC settings.
The worst part is to change some things it adds like an extra 4 clicks to the old method.

What UI design trend do you hate the most?
When I can't middle mouse it right click to open a button in a new tab. It makes it harder to get back to the exact same spot, loaded how it was, to repeat the same task for the next button.

Is it just me or did Lemmy suddenly became more active now that Sync for Lemmy is released?
Yes because the shit that shows up inside of sync is the same way that it did on Reddit. For a lot of users, I bet Reddit was sync. The shit that shows up inside the users probably don't care where it comes from.

Windows had 3 peaks. 95, xp, and 7.
Now I just use Linux. I know not everyone can, but for everything I do or need to do it all works just fine there so I couldn't be happier.

You have to have money to make money. It's just that first step that's the problem...
