seems like we have the same life. I also am forced onto 11 for work, and i DESPISE IT. every second i'm on win11 makes me so thankful i got rid of that garbage in my personal life. My SO actually did switch to Mint with me and we've worked through issues together, now we joke that she's "Defeated Lynux" xD. So far, not a single thing has needed windows, except one time i tried to do a firmware update on a mouse through a linux vm with windows and bricked the mouse, and needed actual windows to reflash it. But thats a very small use case. and we can't play spyware trash games like pubg or fortnite (which are brainrot anyways). I do miss pubg a little bit tbh, just driving around and causing havoc ha.
