I thought this was an anti homosexuality meme until I read the top comment.
I've got to stop using Lemmy. It is changing me...

Kotaku being Kotaku
I've been playing Minecraft off and on since the Beta. I usually play the "All the mods" packs when they launch.
I do not understand how people get so emotionally invested in an IP.
If it isn't a good movie who cares? Just spend your time doing something else.

Sysadmins slam Apple’s SSL/TLS cert lifespan cuts
Reply in thread
Ahh yes the: we can't have self signed certificates for security reasons but also can't open up the environment to the web, and we dont have our own CA server, trifecta.
Solution: awkward, manual, certificate import process from a 3rd party vendor.

The ISS has been leaking air for 5 years, and engineers still don’t know why
Fill the ISS with water and you'll be able to see the leak.

Boy who attacked sleeping students with hammers at school sentenced to life
British Private Schools:
Fagging was a traditional practice in British public schools and also at many other boarding schools, whereby younger pupils were required to act as personal servants to the eldest boys.[1][2][3] Although probably originating earlier, the first accounts of fagging appeared in the late 17th century.[4]: 23 Fagging sometimes involved physical abuse[4]: 23–25 and/or sexual abuse.[5] Although lessening in severity over the centuries, the practice continued in some institutions until the end of the 20th century.[4]: 23–25

Ubisoft is stripping people's licences for The Crew weeks after its shutdown, nearly squandering hopes of fan servers and acting as a stark reminder of how volatile digital ownership is
For anyone who doesn't think this is a problem, watch this video and join this campaign.
The Crew represent a real chance to change things globally (seriously, watch the video).

Lemmy's Transmasculine Problem
Cis here. There isnt much content on Lemmy, compared to reddit.
I don't participate in this community but I do see a lot of this instances posts on 'All'.
You can see that as a con, as you've pointed out, or as a plus, you've got reach outside of your community.
You may be better off with a private invite only community of some sort. I'm not sure if that is possible with Lemmy, it might be.

US couple blocked from suing Uber after crash say daughter agreed to Uber Eats terms

FYI it is the other way around. The British Empire spread Common Law around the world. Here is a Wikipedia's Page (Common Law section) which explains the spread:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_national_legal_systems
This is why we occasionally get courts referring to Ancient precedents from England.

I proposed a hypothetical plan while high, would it work in court?
This happened in Scotland after the law was clarified on biological m/f:

Idiot. You obviously have no idea about the logistics of launching a bath into space. You'd need to send a bucket on a rocket (aero dynamic).
Put the ISS into the bucket, fill with water, then squeeze the ISS and look for bubbles.

Tired still
I used to wake up energized about twice per year. These last few years I always wake up tired.
I've had sleep apnea tests (I dont have it).
I stopped drinking alcohol, ironically a lot of the 'hangovers' I had appear to be how I wake up without drinking too.
I drink about 1l of water before bed. If I dont, I get let cramps when asleep.
I eat multivitamins daily with addition iron and vitamin D.
I used to drink a lot of coffee but now can't stomach the stuff.
I went caffeine free for months and it didnt help.
I'm completely screws lol :D

After 350,000 signatures in an EU consumer rights campaign, Ubisoft is adding offline modes to The Crew games - but not the now-dead original
I thought I'd see this and was surprised not to.
Please proselytize your EU brethren. Signing this Citizen's Initiative is the best chance to fix the dead games issue globally.

Holy shit, that explains why I have a really, weirdly, strong memory but can't really remember much before being 20.
I'm in a similar situation. It gets to a point where time just deals with these things.
Good job on the alcohol. I never got that bad but got close a few times. Craving alcohol at 0630 was a wakeup call for me.
