Here is the source: https://www.tumblr.com/ask-crow-aus/759912849861754880/slytherin-assassin-lattemonstr-aishishiii . It is one reblog further down, as slytherin-assassin deactivated their blog and lattemonstr apparently has no post on their blog, probably deleted when they moved on to a different blog.

They probably meant "anchor point". Maybe they also speak german (Anker is german for anchor) and confused the spellings between the languages.

UPDATED 9-3: StarTrek.website - Lemmy info, FAQ, Patreon info, future plans, and more!

I don't think the website name is that unusual, there are plenty of lemmy servers with names that don't contain the word "lemmy" like feddit.de, discuss.tchncs.de, beehaw.org or pawb.social.

Episode Discussion | Star Trek: Strange New Worlds | 2x08 "Under the Cloak of War"

There was the episode with Scotty in TNG (Relics) where there was indeed the problem of the pattern of the person who was in the buffer with him degrading, but that was over decades (2294-2369), while M'Bengas daughter was in the pattern buffer significantly less time. She was also rematerialised from time to time and it was noted that not doing so risked the integrity of the pattern, which contributed to the issue seen in the TNG episode.

They are not making it themselves, that is done by C Prompt Games, Paradox is only the publisher. They have published turn-based games in the past, like Age of Wonders 4, but i am not aware of a turn-based game developed by them.

What is your favorite archer build?
I had an investigator with medic and eldritch archer archetypes. Basically going for one huge hit per round with strategic strike and enchanting arrow damage, with higher hit chance because if my devise a stratagem roll is bad i can just chose to attack someone else and have another attempt at getting a good roll. If i used pursue a lead on the target i could even use an eldritch shot and strategic strike because devise a stratagem is free in that case. And if there is no other target i have my battle medicine. It was also a useful character for out of combat healing, although that is kind of besides the focus of the post.

Curb Your Enthusiasm and Crusader Kings III. Sounds good tbh, I'd watch that
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and Crusader Kings 3. So it's either a time travel episode or something like those "planet closely resembling a period of earth history" episodes in TOS. Considering there are no records of Tomàs the wise, king of Ireland and Aquitaine, probably the latter.

Which game do I get that's under 20GB?
I have been playing Time Snatcher Handy recently, a roguelike centered around a time-stop mechanic, which only uses 44 MB. It is pretty good. Going through my steam library from the lowest up, here are the others i would recommend, stopping at one GB, because most of my games are under 20 GB and i tend to be relatively selective with what games i get so i consider most of them good also:

Keiko found a plot hole
In German it is called "Das nächste Jahrhundert" meaning "The next century", which avoids that issue.

What book(s) are you currently reading or listening? October 8
I am currently about halfway through the fourth book of the Temeraire series by Naomi Novik. A sort of historical fantasy set in a version of the Napoleonic wars in a world with dragons, which are used by the nations of that world as a sort of airforce. This one in particular is about a disease threatening the british dragons and the search for a cure.
