bikini begging
This is so 8 year old temper tantrum I can't stand it. Not one grown up in congress either.

What exactly is left to sanction? Did we forget Italian ice?

There are two edits that are worth checking out. My fav is the one that leaves only what was in the books. It's the only thing that's made the movie watchable for me.

Translation: We at Buc-ees want to be in shithole states that ruin local businesses and give us kickbacks
TN here - They don't have garbage cans or squeegees / window cleaners. The crap they sell is overpriced swill. The bathrooms are very clean. Food is fair and overpriced. I'd rather go to a Loves any day.

It's not so much that -as a Connecticut Yankee that moved into the south. The south is a wonderful place rich with history, great wilderness, and a fairly decent people that still value hospitality. It's also full of sparsely filled main streets and ghost towns with only 2 Dollar Generals and a host of mom and pop stores that have gone out of business. This person is trying to convey this difference and is an inarticulate asshat. I'll tell you this - I can't get good healthcare but I can get a smoked tenderloin biscuit at 6 places on the way to work that puts fast food to shame. It is also not very healthy. I no longer care.

Iran should add releasing the full unredacted Epstein files to their demands during peace talks.
I'm actually surprised they haven't used this line at all... ? Even on their awesome videos that angle isn't played. Makes no sense.

How often do y'all use a VPN?
I have a VPN configured at the router. I use a PI-hole with a lot of restrictions and lists to run my own DNS and downstream DNS is Adgaurd. Several machines I let bypass the VPN umbrella and they have local clients they can switch on at will. I'd like to make a Linux firewall too but not with prices where they are now. These days you have to distrust everything.

U.S. imposes 50% tariffs on $20 billion worth of Canadian products. Canada will impose retaliatory tariffs
You know, the amount of times our lives have been made more expensive in the last 2 years is too damned high. Who will pocket the refunds this time?

Took a thermal image of a steam locomotive
I hiked Washington in the 80's with my scout troop. We were very jealous of the car people and train people at the museum and gift shop at the top. The whole climb I was wanting to take a leak off the top and instead I used the museums mens room. Mind blown.

Good - As a US hostage I was hoping it would stay that way. I would have liked to see an agreement made and see how many still wouldn't buy though. There's a lot of overvalued crap southern whiskeys here.

Delta Will Use AI To Cut Costs And Set A Different Ticket Price For Every Passenger—CEO Says Profits Could Rise 50%
I grew up in the 1970s air travel wasn't cheap but it was accessible. You were treated well. I (6 at the time) got to go to the cabin and stood right there between pilot and co pilot ... Captain gave me a metal chrome pair of wings (pin with logo and I think a plane) .... I was flabbergasted... Walked guided by the stewardess silently to my seat. There was courtesy and the mindset during those years and up to maybe late 80s was "the customer is our greatest asset". Now profit is the greatest asset and the customer is in the way. No wonder we all go around pissed off. Bags were FREE UNTIL 9/11 and they said we will only charge temporarily until the crisis is over. Asshats and liars.

As demand for Meta AI glasses explodes, it’s harder to avoid creepy recordings | Ars looks at Zuckoff, the latest free app detecting Meta AI glasses amid privacy backlash.

For a while I thought something like a life recording would be awesome ... Using your own cameras and devices at home and away and leveraging public devices to mesh together a record of everything really. Think of the possibilities, you have an argument and insist you did or did not say something...look it up! If you are accused of something like robbing a bank - no problem, my feed and gps and video evidence says otherwise. And when you are an old coot you can go back and watch the sex you had with whomever whenever isn't a negative . Then I realized the storage needs and someone would monetize it so only the wealthy could get a full backup and you got tier 32 ( birthdays and blowjobs maybe ) ... Now years later I realize without our permission they are doing exactly that, only fuck it all because we can build more storage and the intent has changed. It's not to sell you a service. In fact it is much worse.

Chinese video platform Bilibili is going global to challenge Youtube
Reply in thread
Sure, but I'd rather have my info safely offshore in China than to give it right to big brother. I also bet far far fewer ads and more fun commercials because you have no idea what they are about. They are currently destoyjng the natural order in printer ink. I support that wholeheartedly. My Epson inks are 90 and the knockoffs are 20 and work just as well. It's always temporarily beneficial when player 2 enters the market.
*Edit it does not like vpns. That's a no for me.
