are you implying that valve would massively gouge people for a computer by $500 over market parity, if the price of all computer components didn’t skyrocket during the development of the machine?

that price is slightly higher then what the cost would have been to build the computer like a year ago. and that was the price the leak had proposed. what possible purpose could lying about something so mundane have?

Three wishes

again that’s two loops and a successful exit.

  1. do opposite of 2.
  2. complete 3.
  3. ignore 1

Start loop 2

  1. -ignored-
  2. do not complete 3.
  3. -not completed-

all wishes fulfilled, genie.exe concludes

i think this is a container of ideal substance.

it’s kinda like there are a set of weights that is the master weight for metric, that all others are calibrated against.

this would be the ideal substance considered swiss chocolate, for use in verifying machines and other tests are calibrated to this substance.

from what i remember about these. they all taste terrible. but are technically edible.

right. they are, as i understand it, chemically ideal, created of chemically “ideal” base ingredients, cooked at exacting temperatures and pressures, for exacting times. purified of anomalies at every step.

i imagine they taste like it too

you are inventing an enemy of your own choosing instead of being honest with this “discussion”

i never said that, but i can see why you would rather argue someone who acutely believed that then admit you lack the bare basic nuance to separate hitler from an edgy 90’s tween, due to not wanting to actully defend the argument against Che after, from what i can see, is a very reasonable rebuttal.

you must have something against Che, but are unable to articulate why he is bad

so you don’t recognize the difference then. and your entire point is meaningless.

and i would think you would be happy to know that he hasn’t used such language in quite a few years.

wait wait wait, i thought the whole point of this was the insinuation that he was homophonic and is blamed for creating gay work camps and committing human rights violations against gay people. this person lays out a detailed rebuttal on the major talking points that would back the accusers assertions… but now it’s “well everyone at the time was homophobic!, so i am still technically right!”

so you do know there is a difference between someone who uses the word gay to mean bad or gross, and someone who commands the creation of concentration camps to commit human rights violations against gay people right?

it’s a little dishonest. is this moving the goal post?

I never knew that USB-C extensions are not allowed for a reason

So a standard cable needs to be chipped to show its rating to the device, its not that the device can pull what it wants or can get, but the cable itself tells it what it can supply. Extension cables can’t do that, because it doesn’t know what it’s plugged into, and that would be if they even bothered to put a chip in. They instead piggy back off the chip for the main cable. The problem comes when you you have a 240 watt cable hooked up to a cheap 120 watt cable, with the device being told it can push 240, and starts to super heat the extension cable
