Umm, GOP: When Did You Become the Pro-Child-Labor Party?
Reply in thread
This is also the reason that immigrants became "illegal". If they are legal you have to pay them a real wage/benefits/pay taxes for them. If you make them "illegal" you can have very cheap labor (slaves) that can't rat you out or they are deported. They also only give corporations a slap on the wrist when they "had no idea they were illegal". Then the corp just replaces them with "new hires" who are totally "NOT illegal" and starts the process all over until the next time.

I don't think putting your head in the sand makes all the world's problems go away, just makes you ignorant and less prepared to handle them.

It is a way to segregate the "worthy" from the rest (or vice versa I guess depending on if your "worthy" or not).

Sorry as someone with ADHD and Autism, my need to have all the facts but not being able to wait for people to eventually get there is sometimes near impossible and is a constant internal struggle. This is especially bad/difficult at work.

Tom Emmer drops out of contention for House speaker, hours after winning GOP nomination

The right is too far right of the moderates to agree on anything. They need a few purple state moderates to lay down the future of their seat and sit down with the Democrats and work out a compromise. Being in a purple state and you save the house it just might work out for them. Current course is likely to get them all primaried OR replaced with a Democrat next election.

He also allegedly liked busting in on sub-18 year olds at those pageants as well. He also allegedly had a long history of using "illegal aliens" as labor so he wouldn't have to pay them and they had no recourse.
Listen/watch episode 300A & 300B of The Dollop podcast on Trump and be amazed he went this long without someone (he couldn't counter-sue away) bringing charges.

Agreed, when you can look and see one side has the support of the KKK, Proud Boys, and the 3%ers on top of chanting "Jews will not replace us" and dubbed "very fine people" by the leader of said party. And on top of that they also have those that believe in Jewish space lasers, lizard people, and pedophiles everywhere drinking children's blood. They believe in the "attack on Christmas" and Jews bringing Armageddon where they will all be saved.
If you can look at any of that and be like, "well the other side..." then you have chosen a side already, and it's not center. It's probably also time for some self reflection if that isn't who you are.

Nevermind, they went with an election denier that would love to drag us into fascistism as fast as possible. Hopefully every R in a purple district is replaced come election time.

Yes, no predefined list ships in the code, just the ability to add words to the list.
