Why does God allow evil and suffering?
Most of the Bible clearly illustrates the malevolence of the Christian god...

I'm obviously talking about tangible physical objects you see every day. I'm talking about lived experience. Most things you encounter are obviously a certain color, transparent, or some amount of reflective. The sky and butterfly wings whose material are not actually that color and pretty normal things to ponder.

I don't disagree. It's just that we don't frequently encounter throwing microscopic bits of things into the air in our lives, especially early lives. It's pretty normal to be curious about the color of the sky as a child, and it is not obvious that distance of air is what makes enough of a difference. I think you've entirely missed the point of my original comment.
To understand why the sky is blue and why butterfly wings are all sorts of colors even though the material itself is not that color is not something that is intuitive or easy to understand without a great deal of experience and prior knowledge.

Most physical objects I encounter are the same color up close that they are far away...
Edit: ITT, people who completely misunderstand my point downvoting me and being pedantic

Yeah, total cost is going to be at least $0.15 USD / kWh, and can be as high as $0.25 USD / kWh. I've lived all over the US and it's never been less than $0.15 USD / kWh.

I think if you include cost of living and cost of purchasing property, the US dollar is easily 50% less effective now than in 2013.

I had hundreds of BTC. I found out about BTC very early on and loved the idea of a digital, cryptographically secure currency. I remember talking about it with my best friend in his basement when I was 17 years old (early 2009, so really not long after it was released). I spent all of it at various times on various things. I ran the Minecraft server The Bit Mines which practically gave away BTC to players. I never thought of it as a vehicle for investment. Oops

As someone who was homeless, living on the streets for years, this is the comment I think is the most valuable. You need to find out where to get shelter and food, and you need to know people’s contact info - it all needs to be written down and kept safe.
This is temporary. Everything is temporary. Don’t give up.
