Quick post about AI-free FireFox Based Browsers (Keep your Addons and avoid the Bloat)

All browsers on iPhone are reskinned Safari as far as I'm aware. I don't think it matters much what you pick.
I could be wrong though.

Do you also think the engine that comes with your car is free because the manufacturer doesn't sell it as a separate item and it's not listed on the receipt?
Edit: His answer proves he's just a troll. Weird thing to troll about though but I don't judge what someone gets off to ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Shortage [of people willing to be exploited]
If you fire every CEO at a company. Business will continue as usual.
If you fire every insert basically any other role here, you will more than likely have a problem.
That should tell anyone all they need to know about the "value" CEOs bring.
Disclaimer, I'm talking about large corporations.

Nintendo bans Switch 2 owner after they played used Switch 1 games — decision eventually reversed after proving ‘innocence’
Reply in thread
It's guilty until proven innocent on a device the person owns enforced by the company that made it.
Fuck that.
No company should have the power to brick a device because it isn't being used the way they want.

I wish Mint offered KDE out of the box so I could recommend it to people. Cinnamon just looks... I dunno, like the comic-sans of desktops to me.

What's a video game that you just don't get the hype about?
Reply in thread
It's okay to be bad at games without bashing people who are better at games. Many of us worked through covid, and are still working believe it or not, and were still able to beat difficult games.

Miami puts the opposing team in direct sunlight and they get to be in the shade, which is incredibly deliberate vs just not having a dome. So Buffalo, Giants/Jets (share MetLife), and Patriots force them to play in cold wintery weather. Watching Miami fall apart in cold weather is beautiful so I am happy the new Highmark stadium is not a dome.

In win for infectious diseases, Florida to end all school vaccine requirements
Reply in thread
Let's say you live in Germany and Spain decides to remove mandatory vaccines. Are you going to travel 1200+ miles (2000+ km) to be ignored by politicians? Or would you just avoid Spain?
Because that is my situation with Florida. The USA is a big place. I'll just avoid Florida and Floridians as best I can.

Lenovo offers Linux pre-installed. Not sure if anyone carries them in retail stores though.

Battlefield 6 and Valorant's invasive anti-cheats are locked in a turf war
Reply in thread
First, kernel level anti cheat is more akin to a business owner installing very invasive cameras, on your person, and they watch every little thing you do, including going to the bathroom. If they see something they don't like, you gtfo of their store. Don't know about you, but I wouldn't willingly agree to go into a store like that.
Second, in a game like battlefield... Who cares if someone is cheating? It's not a competitive shooter like CS or Valorant. If someone is cheating, change servers...
If you really care about cheating that much, get a console. Stop giving these companies the okay to install rootkits on your PC.

You either don't watch Gamers Nexus videos or you watch them and genuinely don't understand enough to know how in-depth his tests go.
LTT is garbage "entertainment" though. I'll agree with that.
