I have bad news: real way is to stop producing humans like what we have now in the upper class. Unless this is done, best we can get is a periodic cleansing, until next time of "well, things went to shit again"

You did not get what I said, but I am willing to help you this time:

know of people who happen to be raised outside of society, e.g. in jungles? Can't talk to them about rights and stuff, but human they are. Also, you and me on our day 1 on this planet: did any of us open our eyes and think "hey, I have rights" ?

Wow, do you really impress me as delusional. But since I am not irritated enough, let's go on

Even ai in star trek had many faults

Please do provide examples, I haven't seen it

Go away? To where? That doesn’t make any sense

To oblivion, nonexistence. Makes very much sense. Heard of a notion of dying out?

So many people are using it. For what reason would they all decide to stop? Because you want it?

Iteration 2: because they realize it's not what they want. Today it suggests cooking pizza with a glue, tomorrow I am not trusting it to instruct me how to manage electric cables in my house. Why? Because I am not knowledgeable enough to catch it spewing suicidal nonsense that will kill me. So instead of AI I am going to look for human-made DIY video or better yet go pay some electrician who knows what to do way better than me

Granting someone human rights IS NOT tolerance

It IS bullshit. No one ever is born with the notion of human rights and all the crap, but some creatures are born human nonetheless. Which is why

And it’s not high road shit

It actually is. I can agree not to kill someone unless they have killed or caused comparable harm, but not after. Once someone has breached social contract of decent treatment of others - they are not protected by it in my eyes anymore. Yes, it makes me capable of terrible things. No, I am not giving up that capability just for an idea that "I am good and civilized, unlike others"

Only thing is... how does anyone survive without seeing there are no absu-fucking-lutely-good or absu-fucking-lutely-bad people who never ever did anything bad/good respectively?

Doesn't mean I would let just anyone live, but does mean that none of this good/bad nonsense is actually real. Guess not enough people have been kicked by a swing

Lutris maintainer: "I've removed the Claude co-authorship from the commits a few days ago. So good luck figuring out what's generated and what is not."

Been chewing this since yesterday. Okay, here is my two cents:

  • yes, what LLM companies are doing is a problem. So dropping anything that has anything to do with their products is a sane way to make a statement
  • yes, LLMs can be used effectively in development. Whether Lutris author has been using them well - I don't know. Guess won't bother to check either, have other things to do
  • yes, doing the stunt with "good luck guessing what is what" is bullshit

Net total, given I've already dropped GNOME because of their culture: guess now I am dropping Lutris. Not because of AI per se, but because of "fuck you" move

The signatures are still coming and it's already making an impact

Developer choice, ha-ha, very funny. I am not familiar with the industry and still feel safe to bet most of them (edit: actual software developers making games) just want to get enough money for doing what they can do without too much stress/disgust and also most of them don't have a desire to see their work die just because some manager decided it is time to make some other games instead
