a different subgenre, not a specific band

I was thinking each subgenre could be wearing t-shirts with the logos of each band, tho that might be hard to read at small scales. plus I doubt Arseny Avraamov had a logo. Maybe he could have a nametag. (edit: oh wait "Symphony of Sirens" kinda has a logo in the video.)

let's see... subgenres would be:

1. Nine Inch Nails / industrial rock, saying nothing (maybe saying "$$$" or the Disney logo if we want to be mean, but nah Trent is all right!)
2. Skinny Puppy / post-industrial, saying "NIN is just post-industrial for normies!"
3. Throbbing Gristle / industrial, saying "Skinny Puppy is just industrial for the masses!"
4. Arseny Avraamov / experimental pre-Industrial, saying "Throbbing Gristle is just experimental pre-Industrial for kids!"

and “way over there”:

• Industrial Worker is saying "Oh hey I couldn't hear you over my jackhammer!"

Xfinity is a curse from hell. Over the years I've had to help my elderly aunt with various problems with their account. A couple different things that worked:

1. went into an Xfinity store. This helped for simpler account things. People there were generally cool, it was just a job and I think they knew the whole company was a mess, they'd give me tips on how to get to the right place and solve the problem.

2. convinced the AI bot that it was a problem that it couldn't solve. Then I got a human in the chat, who could actually help.

3. went to the web-based "help bulletin board" (I found this through the account's panel) and posted the problem there. There were several unhelpful "community expert" responses but eventually someone who worked there guided me to a web-based chat with their first-line tech support, i.e. so I could give account information. It took them half an hour to reply to anything I said. I explained things VERY CAREFULLY repeating everything we'd established so far (I imagined I was talking to an evil genie) and they eventually gave me a phone number to call, and that person could indeed help me.

I guess it looks cool, but it seems like the kinda thing I'll just want to read the summary about, at some point.

This is how I learned.

A lot of it was just reposting low effort memes, which is not at all a problem, it’s just no great loss.

Piefed/Lemmy is my main social media. So I didn't see those memes on insta or r$ddit or facebook etc, I only saw them here. So to me, it is indeed a great loss because now I don't see them at all.

I had/have the same problems with doctors here in the US. Even if they're good, they just don't have enough time to work with any individual patient.

The first personal trainer I went to wasn't that good, but the second was great, and I got in a lot better shape and got comfortable working with machines.

The Peter Attia book and Joe Delaney channel sound interesting, I'll check those out!
