Despite investors moaning that Elden Ring's success hasn't been milked hard enough financially, FromSoftware parent company's CEO has kept his job
They want to ruin my favorite games. Goddamn I hate rich people.

Louisiana sheriff retires after pleading guilty to beating podcaster who often criticized him
He put a guy in the hospital and he's still on the streets? Guess they don't have enough room for pedos and folks who violently assault people when they have to detain all those concerning immigrant children.

Tennessee has a bigger Nazi problem.
Louisiana is ran like a third world country. Private schools are used for regular kids rather than bad kids because the school systems are horrific. Government is corrupt and everything is a scam.
Alabama still has slavery and should be avoided except for Huntsville and Birmingham. Probably just don't go at all.
Unless you're paying to live in Southern California, all warm states in the US are inhabited by illiterate fascists. Maybe New Mexico gets a pass.

We cant fix all the potholes but we might arrest you if you do
They have a law against "pothole vigilantism" in New Orleans. There is also a "Pothole of the Day" segment on the local news. Given the corrupt government and they are also below sea level, you can imagine the pothole problem.
Actually you probably can't imagine the pothole problem. It's so bad it continues until there is a "whole road" hole problem.

postmarketOS 26.06 Brings Fresh Linux Phone Updates
Reply in thread
I don't recall the exact specifics, but there are limitations. One I think is the support for certain bands. There is an issue with VOLTE requirements, an example you can read about here, although I do not understand what it is. (Sorry for Gitlab lnk.) I've seen it show up on phones where the 4G and 5G indicators are located.
Not sure about graphene. I don't think anyone can use most of the Linux OSs here. Graphene seems to do well but you have to buy a Google phone. I use e/OS and as far as I know as of Dec 2025 only Murena and Mint Mobile will support it in the US.

Tucker Carlson says he'll no longer support the Republican Party
Reply in thread
Agreed. But I agree with him just this one time in terms of not knowing what to do. GOP is awful, but democrats don't have what it takes to get Israel off the tit and solidify the change and stability we need. We need the purple party made up of people who want to address bipartisan issues first. (pointless wars, term limits, proportionate taxes, data center limits, etc)

A hacker built a tool to track police officers. Then he tried to warn them

I disagree with this, at least for the US. When people die and the cops can't provide footage, people know something is wrong. People are falsely accused and get footage in diacovery. If you ask a defense attorney, you might change your mind. Get rid of Flock, but keep the body cams.
Of all the surveillance we want to be rid of, and it's body cams... Figures...
