Programmer tries to explain binary search to the police
This post just shows that the police rarely if ever review any video as this method would've been learned as a result of repeatedly reviewing video.

It's not about everyone being "happy". It's okay to not get everything you want and be content. The Israeli leadership over the past few decades has been everything but content. For them it has always been all our nothing.

109 miners escape from gold mine in South Africa but others continue union standoff, official says

I like how they skip over the part that these miners are basically slaves and their "Union" is their revolution. The news just doesn't investigate anymore.

It's the default because you made it the default. Change your damn security settings Google can't do that for you! Quick to rant about something without knowing how it works or how you got there is on you and not Google.

I pay $600/month for my "employer provided" health insurance
Insurance is extra expensive when you have a family in the US. I'm single and my monthly cost is less than $100 a month. Having a family is more expensive for everything.

'Death to Arabs': Students evacuated from dorms after hundreds of rioters attempt break-in

Well excuse me for wanting to save the lives of children, women, elderly, press, humanitarians, etc... We all know the Israeli response is disproportionate and that they never intended to rescue any hostages. Do you really want to keep defending that government?

duck duck go modifying my search terms
Search the same term on multiple search engines and got consistent results. I think what you're looking at is more of a suggested search term than them actually changing your search.

[Popular Opinion] Federated social networks are more enjoyable than corporate ones
I disagree. I find the federated networks to be self cannibalizing closed off ecosystems that craft themselves into something worst than any "corporate" social network. Don't get me wrong and think I'm a fan of traditional social networks. I've just come to understand that the federated universe of social networks is not what they made themselves out to be. They're controlled by small groups with barely any transparency on security and privacy and little ability to protect users from the dangers of the Internet. These servers are run by a handful of individuals who answer to no one. The federated networks have become a haven for misinformation and bigotry on a level that rival the mainstream social networks. The content shared is usually just taken from other networks or so obscure they barely generate any engagement. Etc, etc... TLDR, it's just worst here.

Here we have a great example of how the discourse is not much better in the federated universe. The majority of people are not shopping for "liberal" or "conservative" instances because they were told they would be able to mold a unique and better experience in the federated universe. Yet, here we are having to not only block bad subs and users but whole instances and there really is no way to keep the bad out of your curated sub/instance. It's the same cat and mouse game just much worse because of the federated universe. Bad actors are abusing this more and more and they're winning.

Democrats Tuned Out Gaza Protests at the DNC. History Won’t Forget.
OP, did you even follow or watch any coverage? This article is a flat out lie. Palestine was brought up by several outlets in one on one interviews. There were some mention in some of the big speeches. Democratic lawmakers were having open discussion about Palestine at the DNC amongst themselves. But here we are again crying because "I didn't see or hear about it so I and those like me were ignored". SMH.
