I dont like swiping at all on any app for that reason, sometimes you accidentally swipe something and all hell breaks loose.

But in any case, there's a setting to disable swipe and even if enabled you can customize swipe actions.

I'm not a fan of gestures for actions in general, I spend a lot of time trying to get them right or even worse, accidentally making them and doing something I didn't want.
