TIL Humans have a tendency to walk counterclockwise over walking clockwise

I got this information from an Instagram reel but ig refreshed and I lost the link before I could save it, so I googled the phenomenon and got an article that talks about it instead. The reel said that it happens in a lot of small things we don't think about like bumper cars, ice skating, most motorsports, mosh pits, etc.

The counterclockwise favoring has even been found in some animals too!

brand new sentence

context because this is kinda a terminally online meme:

A popular online "looksmaxxer" got a bunch of cosmetic surgery and people are making fun of how it isn't worth it for male insecurities

This guy is an asshole and the hate is deserved. He shot an alligator on stream for views (which is illegal btw) and overdosed on stream and a bunch of other bad shit. Along with promoting insecurities/dangerous chemicals/steroids/treating women like objects/penis pumps/etc to children.

For those that don't know looksmaxxing is a movement that expanded from incel culture and involves taking TRT (steroids) underage, smashing your face bones with a hammer, diy surgeries, etc. It is expanding massively online and creates a LOT of new words that Gen z use half ironically half unironically.

TLDR: Dumbass alpha male got a bunch of useless cosmetic surgeries and is ruining his life for views. People are making fun of him for it.

is our battery/junk drawer dangerous?

it's just kinda a messy drawer of batteries/screwdrivers/IKEA assembly tools/etc. We've had it for like 15 years and it's never been an issue but I saw a tiktok video of a lithium battery exploding and it made me realize, there's a lot of potential energy in one drawer and idk if I'm taking the necessary safety precautions 😅

idk a lot about how batteries work, but like are they at risk of turning into a pillow and fireball like lithium ion ones?
