Learning about the Susan G. Komen foundation was the first time I started to really think critically about donations to supposed charity organizations. Where does the money go, and how much of it actually ends up supporting the ostensible cause?

Don't believe what people tell you about their goals and motivations. Follow the money.

Damn in the techno ones there's two that make any sense to me, and even then circuit board green I'd know is lighter. I mean, you can make it any color you want, Ive seen dark blue and red, a lot of older tech used a light brown but that's not as iconic these days

The green reminds me of hand-applied solder mask, where you have to make a much thicker layer to make sure everything is covered.
