Highest point in Europe
Interestingly, the spanish highest point pictured there is actually nowhere to be seen on this map, as it's located in the Canary islands, further to the south.

Making good, profitable games 'will no longer keep you safe': industry expresses fury and heartbreak over closure of Hi-Fi Rush and Prey studios
Such a waste of talent!
I just heard a podcast from 'better offline' titled 'how managers are breaking the internet' and he calls these kinds of things 'the rot economy', kind of like enshitification but it happens when some completely disconnected suit takes over projects from passionate developers and brings the whole thing to the ground with their 'line must go up' mentality.
I'd say it's exactly whats happening here.

Top EU Court annuls a €1.49 billion fine on Google.
The decision is a setback for the Commission, which fined Google €8 billion in three competition cases. Just last week, €2.42 billion was confirmed as a final decision.
Google appealed the fine in June 2019, arguing its practices were designed to ensure a consistent user experience. The European Commission now has two months and 10 days to appeal the decision to the European Court of Justice (ECJ).
So, it's just a small part of the fine they got, let's see what happens with the appeal.

Alex Jones agrees to liquidate his assets to pay Sandy Hook families, in move that would end his ownership of Infowars

He's a unscrupulous grifter that was in it for the money from day one
Yeah, the Sandy hook story was bringing in millions of dollars. He knew very well what he was doing and he kept at it because he only cared for his personal gain. He's a huge piece of shit.

I tried this when you announced the last update here on lemmy(I guess on version 12) and it's been really nice, I specially like being able to syncronize an encrypted copy between my machines. Keep up the good work

Mullvad plans to remove support for OpenVPN in little over a year, on 2026-01-15
Reply in thread
This is a great point, if they're gonna make this change, they should allow unlimited keys (or at least more than 5) and just limit the number of simultaneous devices on wireguard too. If that's feasable

Extensions installed on any browser make your fingerprint more unique. For PC your best option against fingerprinting would probably be using n unmodified mullvad browser, and on android, mull, with the least extensions posible.
