I suspected this would happen after the Saudi take-over. I haven't played Veilguard, but i did see something about a non-binary character. I'd be very surprised if the saudi's funded something progressive like that, even if it was poorly executed from what i've seen.

I salute the early adopters who will suffer all the inconveniences of startups so the wider public can enjoy a non-corporate phone in the future. o7

For the Netherlands, Urk. Which I always thought sounds aptly like orc.

Edit:Typo.

If an edit changes the context of the comment, then sure, put up an edit note. But no one cares if you erase typos.

The hobbit movies should have fleshed out the dwarf characters better with all that extra time, give each of them a substory spread out over the trilogy so they would be more memorable. They did that with only one of the dwarves and it's a silly love triangle that barely goes into the character of said dwarf. With the movie we got, ask any average person directly after seeing the movies to name the dwarves, i bet hardly anyone can.

I really like the top post per 6/12 hours, that way you can really keep up with popular posts.

He has looked like that far before trump meant something outside of the US.

Just a guess, but I think the difference in a country like Qatar can be explained by the import of labor. They hire a workforce from a different country which tend to be dominantly male in those regions. And we've seen with the football WC how they're developing.

I always tell people when they step out on the streets, they walk in a democracy. Yet when they step into the office, they walk into a dictatorship.

Oof, I hope the CGI people get some time to polish that up because that did not look good.

But it's not free. Pretty important point for a lot of people.

Why stop there? Let's rename the mouse buttons to mouse/hamster buttocks.

Imagine this guy watching Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, sees all the Taserface jokes and he goes: "I don't get it, Taserface is a cool name."

Almost every time something negative is said about Starfield, it feels like walking into a room with Draco Malfoy, Geoffrey Baratheon and bully Maguire bullying on Bethesda/Todd.

But here in this thread, on the worst review I've seen so far, people are actually chill, acknowledging the flaws, but enjoying the game. It's such a fresh breath of air.

I hate these kinds of news stories. It just promotes the guilty until proven innocent mindset.

I just build a new gaming/creative pc, decided to make the jump to linux mint while i was setting up something new. And I honestly expected more hickups than i got, nothing which a quick search didn't fix except for one. My xbox controller won't connect over Bluetooth, it works when connected through a cable though. But I also noticed some stick drift, so I'm tossing it and order an 8bitdo which has those magentic sticks (forgot the name) and linux compatibility.

Lemmy show you the way.

Just don't ask where the other babies went.

Also a cheesy one to level: each hit with a silenced automatic weapon counts as a sneak attack as long as your not full detected, rapidly filling the challenge for sneak.
