I might be a purist and miss out on a lot of good videos. But when I see a clickbait title and thumbnail I refuse to watch it. It just doesn't sit right that someone would make a quality video and then use slop to promote it. 😞

I know that extension very well. I have contributed to it and even bought a license for it. Makes YouTube feel less like a slop machine.

Yes, I do the same 🙂 I drive 5 minutes to be able to start running in the national park. Instead of 3 km up over pavement (and back). Or, for my Sunday long runs, I like to go further away to see new sights.
