Like I said before, I was looking for an Oregon community and the only one that showed up in search results was the exploding heads one, which had a long history of posts denigrating trans and homeless people. In this case, I think no content is better than awful content. I wouldn't want some Lemmy newbie joining this server and misconstruing the Oregon community federated from them as our own.
