I'm one of those people that uses DLSS, because I've got a large fancy 4k monitor that is big enough that is looks like shit at lower resolutions.

DLSS is better than nothing but it's no replacement for native rendering, it introduces a heap of visual anomalies and inconsistencies, especially in games with a consistent motion (racing games look like shit with DLSS), so I tend to be having lows of 50fps on medium before I'll even think about DLSS.
I'm also pretty sure Nvidia is paying devs to have it on by default, because everytime it's patched into a game they clear all the current graphics settings to turn on DLSS, at least in my experience.

I don't believe anything is actually copied until you request it to be pasted. The clipboards in Linux mark where the data is, and don't actually initiate a copy until there's a destination.

HMD Global is a Finnish company, run by ex-Nokia executives. It's pretty nuch the old Nokia, seperated enough to not bankrupt the original company if it goes bad.

The phones are no more Chinese than Google and Apple.

Likewise, pay for full Nitro, I can afford it and it's a platform I use frequently and enjoy, I'm glad they let others who can't pay for Nitro have a pretty much equivalent service for free.

It's not free to run a platform, and it's unreasonable to demand everything for free. It could be more reasonably priced (basic is not too bad), but honestly I'm okay with subsidising others for something like this.

Similar experience with my Galaxy Watch 4 classic, had it since launch, don't treat it carefully and I haven't managed to damage it, and it's been pretty much faultess for me.

I've only had 1 phone in the last 10 years that didnt wirelessly charge, and there's zero chance I'd buy a phone without it again. And I'm really hoping qi2 starts appearing in phones next year.

I don't understand the need for super fast charging, like it's handy if you're on the run and forgot about it, but I need more charging than my phone does, so it's no issue to just plonk it on a stand when I'm resting....

Completed some testing on my end, using intels PresentMon and sitting at 35fps average in New Atlantis my GPU busy is pegged at about 99% of the frame time, so nothing really.

I do get a bit of a CPU limitation when it's raining, but nothing significant, dropped to about 30fps.

Trying at 1440p with the same settings as the 3090 above got me around 50fps, 1440p is almost half the pixels of 80% of 4k as well, so that's not helping my GPU much!

In addition to the other comments about it being just as quick, if not faster and easier to get a consistent heat, I also found the noise level was way better - it'll hum if the pan isn't centered properly, and the power is turned up, but when simmering, it's pretty much silent which was weird but suprisingly nice.

I've long held the view the major highways should be set to 140, aimed at reducing fatigue. Someone will drive Melbourne to Sydney in a day anyway, and two hours less travel time will help make them safer when they get there.

I've got an 8086K and 3080, running on a 4K screen - with Ultra settings and FSR of 80% I'm getting 35-40fps, which honestly doesn't feel too bad. It's noticable sometimes but it's a lot smoother than the numbers suggest.

Because my CPU is a little long in the tooth, I've gone probably a bit hard on the visuals, but my framerate didn't improve much by lowering it. The engine itself has never really liked going past 60fps, so I don't know why people expected to be able to run 100+ frames at 4k or something.

Generally security programs like this that do keylogging are context aware and don't include passwords, plus if it's a managed device they probably wouldn't need keylogging to obtain passwords if that was the objective. Significant amount of endpoint protection software will allow for RAM capture, which would have your passwords as well.

Furthering this, if you're accessing managed applications (say OneDrive or Sharepoint) it's common to prevent access to a device that doesn't have all of the monitoring software installed.
