Epic Games Store is offering developers 100% of revenue for six months of exclusivity

Reply in thread

Their checkout still doesn't have a cart, it takes forever to load, the UI is terribly clunky, the library sorting is terrible (how do you fuck this up), it's resource heavy, and I'd be willing to overlook all that oof they had an in game overlay with web browser.

Aside from the terrible experience, they have profit seeking investors, one of which is Tencent. We all have seen were it goes when profits are priority over consumers.

Not a hate boner. Just genuine dislike of the platform as it stands right now.

‘Corrupt as hell’: Clarence Thomas faces fresh calls to resign after more billionaire gifts revealed

Reply in thread

I'm not sure about the majority but my dad has this mentality that liberals are the corrupt ones and you're delusional if you think Republicans are corrupt in any way.

Showing him this new from many different sites only results in "the libs are behind this and just trying to discredit the other side." (But an article on a conservative site that can't be found anywhere else is completely legit) There's no reasoning with that type because reasoning isn't there anymore.

It's Party Time: Baldur's Gate 3 is Out Now

RPGs aren't my style generally so I can't really put my finger on anything specific with storytelling but I can at least say , for someone that (unfortunately) finds it difficult to get into stories, I found bg3 much more intriguing and easier to get sucked into then divinity 2.

I'm also currently playing on a build from 2 years ago and seeing all the updates since then, I'm really exited to pick it up today and see how it's improved.

QWOP You control a track runner to get as far as you can with Q, W, O, and P which are the left/right legs and (I believe) thigh/calf motion. It's very difficult, failure is entertaining, and success feels great.
