What occupation requires the most education/training only to be very low paid?
Musician. I have 7 years of university level studies and 12 years of work experience, and I make less than median salary in Sweden.

How often do you brush your teeth?
Only once per day, in the evening before bed. I have done it all my life(except when I was a kid) and it seems to work for me. Never had any issue with my teeth, at all. I know I should probably do it in the morning aswell, but I cant bother since what I do now works...

The part about Media Segments sounds really interesting. Could it potentially work like in some streaming services, where you can just hit a button to skip a tv show intro? That would be amazing!!

Not that kind of musician. I work in a opera orchestra.

Boxers or Briefs?
Briefs, absolutely. The boxer trend is ridiculous. It's getting hard finding briefs here at all, in Sweden. Imo, it all stems from middle school insecurity. We were all told briefs were gay and so now everyone is using boxers.

Strejk inledd på Tesla i Sverige
Det gör mig så glad att folk står upp för vad som är rätt. All heder åt dem. Specialheder till Transport som sympatistrejkar. Klart som fan folk ska ha kollektivavtal och bra villkor, allt annat är helt befängt.

Funnily enough, I can't be bothered looking at a video becouse I can't glance through it. It takes too long listening to "please like and subscribe thnxxxxxx....." With text, I can quickly scan through, and easily find what I'm looking for.

How are we even supposed to know what's right anymore? Am I supposed to vote for the solar or the nuclear fanatics? I just wanna save the fucking climate, what should I do?
Edit: I'm sorry if this isn't phrased clearly, but what I mean to say is "solar fanatics or nuclear fanatics", implying that I feel right in the middle between the to and just want to make the right choice. People are arguing loudly from both sides.

SteamOS 3.8.3 Beta
Hibernation support? Thisis probably my most missed feature! Imagine suspending to ram as usual, and if I dont resume after 3 hrs it would suspend to disk to preserve battery. Amazing.

As a bass player, a VW Touran can fit two double basses and two people. Can't do that in a pick-up.

I'm guessing you are joking but I'm not really sure. Point is, I educated myself for a really long time and then I won a position in an orchestra, and my salary is now very low, in comparison. There are other benefits though so I'm not really complaining.

US spends billions on roads rather than public transport in ‘climate time bomb’
Reply in thread
Classic America to be fair: butcher every public service until it's unusable and then use that politically as a demonstration of how terrible it is and how we should just hand it off to private companies.
This is happening in Sweden too right now.

Passkeys might really kill passwords
Reply in thread
I export my passwords from my manager regularly and keep them on paper in a secure place. At worst, it would be massively annoying if the password manager somehow blew up. But you can't hack a paper. On the other hand, like some other person wrote, it's incredibly easy to break your phone screen and then you're screwed until you can fix it.

Inflationen i Sverige sjunker i maj – nere på 6,7 procent
När ska det börja pratas i media om att det kanske är företagens vinster, och inte lönerna, som driver inflationen?
