Whats your advantage in life?

I'm easily satisfied with life. I have a pretty good job and make pretty good money, good friends, and I have a beautiful wife, and that's all I need. I'm not the ambitious type who needs to keep making more and more money. I don't need the fanciest car or designer clothes. I don't want to be famous, and I don't have anything to prove to strangers. That makes it much easier to be happy, I think.

The developers of PEAK, explaining how they decided on pricing for their game.

Reply in thread

I have to disagree. This quote would be super shitty talking about microtransactions, but if this is about Peak, I dont believe they have any microtransactions in their game. Its the full price of the game. And honestly, if you have friends to play it with, $8 is a steal. Its nothing ground breaking or like world changing, but it's a fun time-waster to spend time with people you like and accomplish a goal with decent replayability.

Vigils held nationwide for nonbinary Oklahoma teenager who died following school bathroom fight

Reply in thread

I mean no offense, but the article says the victim told police the fight started when they poured water on the girls. I'm not saying the girls did or didn't deserve it, and I'm not condoning anyone's actions, but that sounds like a fight. Probably not a fair fight, but a fight.

But to be fair, the police also said the initial autopsy showed the fight and the death were "unrelated," which is suspicious at best, so who knows if we can trust what they say?

The extremely attractive and benevolent socialite with seemingly limitless wealth from mysterious sources that they are going on fetch quests for (which is about 60% of thr campaign) is actually a shapechanged amethyst dragon who is plotting an ascension ritual and is the big bad foe the campaign.

Also the seemingly benevolent order of monks are in actuality a cult for a far realm eldritch entity (a fact that only the highest ranking 5 members actually know), and the tattoo of a third eye all the acolytes get will actually anchor that entity to the world so it can come through and try to take over... but that's next campaign.

How much money would it take for you to never listen to your favourite artist again?

$0 apparently. I used to love Kanye. I could mostly excuse his bullshit because he was just clowning on the black community, and as a member, I could ignore it. But when he went "defcon" on the Jewish community, I kinda had to take a step back. Not necessarily because of what he was saying, but seeing him on Alex Jones in that mask with the net and the yoohoo, I realized how actually insane he was. I haven't actively listened to him in like 2 years, which sucks because say what you want about his mental state, the dude could make some good music.
