Manage Devices without AD,GPO or an MDM

If you want a company to purchase tools for you to do you job, you need to tell the company what the cost will be if you do not have the tools in place.

This will include the cost of your time to perform the job without the proper tools. It will also include the potential costs of any issues that arise from not have the proper tools in place, like the cost of a security breach or maybe loss of clientele if a security breach occurs.

Basically you try to present what it cost to go without the tools you need and all of the issues that come along with that, and then compare that to the cost of buying the tools.

People with anger issues are the most disrespected

Reply in thread

Your post isn't wrong, but I feel there is one thing I should point out. People with who deal with anger issues are constantly using self control to not burst out in anger. But since they deal with anger way more often then others, they have more outbursts. So it's not always a lack of self control, it's just reaching the end of your rope and theres no more control left.

I have a friend who has issues with impulse control. I am constantly seeing signs of them not controlling their impulses, like eating certain foods or buying things on a whim. But then I realized that they actually do control their impulses all the time, they just deal with the issue way more that I do and fail to control the impulses more often. They are actually controlling their impulses way more often than not, they just experience more impulse control failures because they experience a lot more impulsivity than others.

What is a command you accidentally taught your pet?

Wife taught our dog to crawl.

She was trying to teach the dog to lay down and stay while she backed away with the treat. Our dog figured that if she kept her belly on the floor and crawled over to the treat it should be fine...

So my wife said "Good crawl!", and kept working on it with the dog. Now the dog crawls on command.

Researchers prove that atomic vibrations can transfer orbital angular momentum directly to electrons in a non-magnetic material

I'll give it a shot. This is what I got from it.

Ok so this study basically discovered that atoms arranged in certain patterns will affect the orbit of electrons when the atoms vibrate. We can detect those vibrations and determine the electron's orbit. We can manipulate materials to cause them to have this effect as well.

So we can basically use this to store and retrieve information much like we do with bits on a computer. We are using the angular momentum of atoms like bits in a computer.

Everything has a bit of overlap

Oh man, one of my biggest pet peeves.

"Observation" should really be called "interaction" when referring to quantum effects. The act of observation is actually an interaction with a quantum object that collapsed the wave to a point. We are affecting the quantum object by making a measurement, not by looking at it. If we don't measure it the wave function doesn't collapse until it interacts with the wall. In this case, the wall is the "observation" that causes the wave function to collapse.

Ok, sorry for the interruption, carry on

Alabama preacher F.L. ‘Bubba’ Copeland kills himself after being outed as ‘transgender curvy girl’

This is what happens when people are forced to repress themselves in order to fit in with what society says is acceptable.

What they want becomes bad but they still fantasize about it. So the fantasy's become twisted and perverse. If this person was allowed to be who they wanted to be they may not have gone down such a dark path. It really just makes me sad to see things like this.
