“Gaming is becoming unaffordable” — Xbox CEO says the industry has an accessibility crisis

Reply in thread

I was going to say, my PC is only 3 years old but from what I noticed is if you had an above average GPU from the past 6 years then you are absolutely still ok to play a lot of stuff from today just fine. I dont think thats really going to change much for a while either as cards have turned to faking pixels over trying to achieve higher performance gains so progress is a bit slower in that area.

Message notifications don't clear

Its been this way forever from what I have seen. I also never get messages and so the only way I know it does this is from the few random ones that were sent to everyone promoting that fake profile. It would clear eventually but it was frustrating that it wouldnt clear on it's own either. Glad to see someone figured out how to clear it. I also hope they fix it, i always assumed someone reported it but maybe not.

CD Projekt Red boss believes some fans were forever burned by Cyberpunk 2077's disastrous launch: 'I'm convinced that we lost the faith of some people indefinitely'

No Mans Sky was another one that people were angry about, but they turned it around and went way above and beyond what the game initialy was.

You are lucky you didnt get to play it during its first year. It definetly had a lot of issues and if you played on console you basically gave up the nice looking world that exists today.

Microsoft is killing Office 2021 in October to push you onto Microsoft 365, how to fight back

Reply in thread

Good to see the correct response to this post. Nothing about what they are doing is off. Im still using office 2019 personally since i got it really cheap like a year before it went EOL. I use it so infrequently for personal use it doesnt bother me, but its nice to have.

On top of this there is office 2024 which if you did still need to move to another version thats equivlant then this is what you want. I am honestly shocked more people dont just buy the stand alone office over 365 subscriptions. Is it because Microsoft stopped advertising that they exist? 1 time fee over monthly anyday.
