Project zomboid on easy settings (low amount of zombies, zombies are dumb, high amount of loot and easy skill gain). I'd take it. Even regular settings would be a dream in comparison to dealing with state violence, so I'd be pretty happy.

Ghost in the Cell (2026, dir Joko Anwar)
This was both dark and quite comedic. The deaths were creative and slow paced at first, but then the tone switches from mystery horror to a faster paced comedic game to stay positive while in very negative situations. I enjoyed it!

Hitchcock. He was basically the harvey weinstein of his time. The power he weaponised against women that turned down his forceful advances ruined their lives physically, financially, and emotionally.

Too bad he is a shitty and evil person. Someone to be hated, rather than admired.

AI still out here taking everything. Only the corporations can steal. Maybe they didn't like that it was then given to people for free, instead sold again.

Germany gets a lot of (well deserved) heat for the nazis, but it is a true testament to the efficacy of propaganda investments that the US does not have a worse reputation. Even hitler wrote about how he was inspired by the US to do the things he did.
I agree with you. The US is, and always has been, a cancer on the planet more malicious than any other.

When typing took that long, you had to prioritize what was important to say.

"Yo, we're getting together at 3:00 PM with Billy, when will you be here?" seems easy enough from ur example :)

This meme seems to me like a reference to how charlie used his platform to spread the lie that reports showed that George Floyd was killed by fentanyl overdose. No one believes that charlie died of OD, but charlie had millions convinced that George Floyd was not murdered by a cop and that people were over reacting.

Well if it's low cost and easy to use..
This post will definitely reveal my age a bit. The easiest way to earn tickets at an arcade I used to go to as a kid was to play an Adams Family themed game that featured uncle fester. It had 2 knobs you had to hold as it would shock you and give you tickets for lasting long enough as it increased intensity. Eventually Sega bought the arcade and the machine was removed, but it makes me laugh to think on how I would willingly get shocked weekly just to "win" stupid little plastic rings, candy, and slap bracelets.

Spineless.
He has the power to end so much suffering. Instead he uses it to influence a fascist's win and cuts major aid programs in the name of saving money, which it didn't even do. This man is an evil lunatic playing with millions of lives with his grifts. He deserves something worse than death, but his death would at least be a merciful act for humanity.

AI companies opt for the destructive route... The result is the destruction of millions of books.
This will be seen as the new "burning of the library of alexandria" event, if it will even be remembered.

The US under Trump cannot be misunderstood: They are a threat to Canadian sovereignty.

Now? I think it has become a bigger threat for sure, but the US has been a straight up villain to the world before this.

Republican bill aims to punish Canadian provinces with U.S. alcohol bans
Reply in thread
The Combating Attacks on our National Alcoholic Drinks by Allies (CANADA) Act states that under Section 301 of the U.S. Trade Act, the legislation would direct U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer and his office to investigate Canadian provincial liquor board restrictions on the import and distribution of U.S. products within 30 days, if made law.
Fucking toddlers coming up with the names for these acts, lol. They definitely saught to fit words to the acronym they chose.
The CANADA Act builds on comments from U.S. Trade Representative Ambassador Jamieson Greer, who stated that resolving the Canadian provinces’ discriminatory treatment of American alcohol producers would likely require an enforcement action.”
What are they going to do? Add more tarifs? Are they really going to pretend that canada is doing this for no reason? As if this isn't already a response to the US's actions...

From what I recall, the red flags included stuff like giving the IP away of activists, having access to private keys while claiming e2e, and taking more info than they claim. I am busy atm, but i can find some links to sources when I get a chance.
edit: here is the link I said that I would find: from Hacker News
The Switzerland-based company said it received a "legally binding order from the Swiss Federal Department of Justice" related to a collective called Youth for Climate, which it was "obligated to comply with," compelling it to handover the IP address and information related to the type of device used by the group to access the ProtonMail account.

As someone that always customizes their hyperlink colors, it took me a moment to remember that the default was blue and purple to get the joke. If it wasn't for the other comments, I might still be confused.
