Tigers appear orange to humans but green to deer and wild boar due to colour vision differences.

Well I knew the second part. I also knew that deer rely on scent far more than vision to spot predators. What I didn't know is why hunting laws specifically call for the use of blaze orange (also fluorescent pink). Not the caution yellow or that greenish yellow you see a lot in construction and high visibility garments, but specially blaze orange. It makes perfect sense if the orange still works as camo from the deer, but is extra visible to other hunters. That's like a best case scenario color.

Use a modern filesystem like btrfs or even lvm with thin provisioning to solve that problem. Separate partitions for ease of backup, but they all pull from the same pool of storage.

Women in pink rally in support of Lindsay Clancy at her trial for killing her 3 children

Part of proving a crime is proving "mens rea", or "criminal mind." Not all crimes, but most have to prove that you knew what you were doing was wrong and you chose to do it anyway. The mentally ill defense is to say you couldn't form that criminal intent. That's an exceptionally hard thing to prove. If she kept trying to check in because she was afraid she was dangerous, that's already a sign that she knew she was doing things wrong.

Finally? It's been SUSE's default for at least a decade now. It's the default for Fedora since 33, so ~5 years ago. Btrfs has been working for a long time.

Triangle

That's not why she died. She died because she was incompetent. She was a bad pilot and after a crash the man that was the radio expert quit. She didn't know how to work the radios and broadcasted to listen on a channel that her radio couldn't use, she didn't know how to use the trailing antenna that could have saved them so she had it removed, etc...

Whole Foods argues it can ban BLM masks because the Supreme Court let a Christian business owner refuse same-sex couples

You can get mad at Amazon, but really it's the Supreme Court you should be mad at. Amazon is going to take advantage of whatever it thinks will make them more money. The government is the thing that is supposed to keep them in check.

Edit: A lot of people seem to be reading something different from what I wrote. I didn't say you shouldn't be mad at Amazon, or that Amazon isn't at fault for their own actions. What I did say is that you should expect this type of behavior from a business and should expect our government to do a better job at keeping this behavior in check.

People have a terrible understanding of orbital mechanics and apparent weightlessness. It's not like gravity just stops affecting you after you get out of the atmosphere. Getting out of the atmosphere is the easy part of getting to orbit. Going sideways fast enough is the hard part.

Low effort president, low effort meme

The president isn't military, he's not even supposed to salute. I know it's become expected, but he is a civilian. Ignoring that, the only disrespectful is the type of hat he is wearing. You're actually supposed to wear your cover outdoors, look at the actual military members in the photo. There are so many legit reasons to hate Trump we don't need to make ones up.
