He had a medical condition, in writing from the doctor that he couldn't fly for 8 to 12 weeks in case of blood clogs. He notified the authorities that he might be overstaying a little without any response.
And still he got detained, the US is a banana republic led by an ape.

It's a bit harsh but yeah... Looking at the US from a distance I've been saying it is turning in some sort of weird industrial/corporate dictatorship resembling a third world country for a decade now.
Only thing I ever got back was, 'murica is the best country in the world".
And they still are saying that to this day...

I think the cheapest way here (the Netherlands) is around €750-900 and you are burned in a (fairly strong) paper bag or cardboard coffin I think.
But to be fair I don't care, i'm dead anyway, I don't have insurance for it, and if there is anyone left around me by then they can do whatever they want or not do anything. I don't have kids so they can't stick the bill to anyone.
