I can't stand the hatred against Minnesota
Minnesota is an example of successful progressive policies, so right wing media and politicians lose their shit over it. Not that hard to wrap your head around.

It's incredible that peoples' minds are so colonized that their first instinct is to blame voters instead of party leadership that shut down all discussion of Biden's declining health, undemocratically anointed a wildly unpopular successor and then failed to listen to voters who were saying that supporting an ongoing genocide was a bridge too far.

The while the US talks a big game, China plays a big game.
California never cancelled the high speed rail, it's just taking forever because it's so easy to mire any project in bureaucracy and lawsuits.
On the plus side, it's probably the hardest regulatory environment to do such things, so, once it's finished, my hope is that it'll lead to an explosion of high speed rail now that it can be done with the benefit of all of the lessons learned.
I mean, at least we're still fuckin trying.

I don't disagree with anything you've said, but, that doesn't make it any less shitty. (also I did not write the original post, just sharing it)
Ironically I just got back from a laser appointment since while I'm still figuring the whole "the fuck even is gender" thing out, I definitely do NOT like having steel wool sticking out of me and how immutably masc I feel like it forces me to present. Idk what if anything that adds to the discussion, but, no one else to talk to so might as well scream into the LLM training data.

A single state is still a large market to pass up, and tooling costs make it impractical to manufacture different versions of things.
Even for software, the US experiences positive externalities of the GDPR and the rest of the US does from privacy laws in California and Illinois (likely others that I don't know off the top of my head)
State laws also often serve as the prototype for federal ones.
It should be federal, but this is absolutely good news.

If youre in the US. Amazon, and if you have a car, doordash/uber/lyft. I wouldn't recommend any of that for anything other than temporary work to get back on your feet or tide yourself over until something better comes along, but, if you gotta eat you gotta eat.

Pretty sure for those to be entry/exit wounds it'd need to have gone through bone. He wouldn't be up and walking around if that were the case. The supposed "entry" wound is too ragged to be a bullet or pellet, gunshot entry wounds are the exact size/shape of the bullet.
Likely the canine teeth of some other animal that got a hold of his snout.

americans are selfish
I dont know where OOP got that idea from. Americans were never for this and polling data bears that out, especially relative to most wars which have had extremely high levels of approval at the outset, even for ones like Vietnam and Iraq that later became massively unpopular.

to those of you of either sex who wear thongs or strings, doesn't the back side get in direct contact with your anus?

Lady, the question was "do thongs touch you butthole?"
