What is a game that you know is bad but really enjoy(ed)?
Hard Times by MDickie.
It's crap, but has generated some stupidly fun shit because of it

Users of Arch-based distros, why don't you use pure Arch?
Reply in thread
I use Arch (btw) so I half agree but Arch nowadays is a much more mainstream distro, especially thanks to its derivatives so some sort of security should be implemented on the AUR.

Why would you use grams for gold (as you should) but then switch to pounds for copper. Are you a lunatic?

Do you volunteer?
Yes. I volunteered for a couple months in Ukraine in a dog shelter and the volunteer kitchen in Lviv. I also volunteer to organize demonstrations in my city and occasionally I edit OpenStreetMap.

Best longterm offline Linux friendly games? Give me your best!
Vintage Story. It's a very good survival, very customizable experience too.
I think it's a game that shines best in a multiplayer civilization RP tbh but even as a single player game it's a very nice survival. It may look similar to Minecraft at first but it is very very different and in all the good ways.
Plus mod support is so good, by design, even the website itself has 1-click installs.
Oh and it has chiseling.

Sure, but only one of them is an active threat to everyone and it is not the NEETs, if we're being honest with ourselves.

KDE wins
Reply in thread
It's the most popular because it's Ubuntu's default which happens to still be the "default linux distro". Many GNOME users probably don't even know what GNOME or a DE in general is (and that's ok).
If you ask linux nerds, however, KDE generally seems more popular but that's probably because people who care about this sort of thing tend to value customization and KDE's philosophy more than GNOME's.
Source: I use KDE on Arch BTW, guess which category I fall on.

Arch elitists don't want you to know this but you can just type archinstall and a text installer guide thingy will install the system for you based on what you tell it.
That said, you're spot on on the last part. I love arch exactly because it is the easiest one to customize the way I want to but it's not for everyone and not everyone should use it

It is one thing to drive a car you hate because it's the only one you can afford. It is another to buy a shitty dumpster on wheels that's more expensive than most cars and is made by a raging fascist.

Why would you buy a used cybertruck when you have trucks that do the job better, cost less and are safe to drive?

I just don’t know how they would controlled the population growth without jeopardizing the next generations’ future
That's the neat part: they don't care about the next generation.
