Glad they're looking out for me
The same thing with how a "New and Improved" product is never improved for the benefit of us. It's improving their bottom line.

What's the strangest you've seen?
Put it in the room with the other one and ignore it.

Trump says 'we're blowing up the whole country' if no Iran deal is reached in 48 hours
Imo he has been looking for any excuse to launch a nuclear bomb since he first became president. I don't even think he cares why, how, or who he ends up using it on, even if it's his own people. As long as he gets to use his ultimate power as president and press that big button. And as long as he isn't personally affected he won't even give it a second thought.
I firmly believe he WILL nuke someone before his term is up if nobody stops him. I firmly believe people have already stopped him before.

I saw this posted a few years ago and apparently the stickers were designed and placed there by pranksters. Which, you know, should have been pretty obvious to everyone to begin with.

Windows users keep losing files to OneDrive, and many don't know why
Reply in thread
I have a personal vendetta against OneDrive because it literally holds your files hostage. It uploads your data without your consent and then threatens to cut off access to your own files unless you pay up. It actively fights you when you try to regain control, up to and including reinstalling itself once you finally manage to uninstall it.
It's the main reason I finally got serious about switching to Linux (which I have and it has been amazing)
I'm still mad though, fuck Microsoft. Evil assholes.

It's like people saying their facebook got hacked when in reality, they logged in on a public computer and didn't log out. Or their password is their kid's name or some shit.

And he went "Yeah but this technically doesn't count, I had to quit because someone got sick." and he still didn't seem to realize that that's exactly what happens to poor people too except they have no way to hit the "stop being poor until conditions improve" -panic button.

Trump threatens to 'obliterate' Iran's power plants if Strait of Hormuz isn't opened in 48 hours
Based on what I know about how Trump operates, I'm fully convinced he is just creating an excuse to launch a nuke at someone, either Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, Mexico, Greenland, any country he can. Because that's the one thing he has just been itching to do his entire presidency. Using the special codes to launch a nuclear bomb to prove to the world and to himself that he really is as powerful as God himself.
I am actually willing to bet that we're eventually going to learn that he has already tried at least once but someone has (until now) managed to block it.
Someone is going to get nuked if Trump is not stopped.

Their OneDrive fuckery was the final straw for me to seriously consider switching to Linux.
They installed that shit without my consent, moved all my data onto it without my consent, despite me making a serious effort to undo all of that and keep my files local. THEN they had the gall to start warning me that I was running out of cloud storage and wouldn't be able to access my files if I didn't cough up the money for a subscription.
I finally managed to uninstall OneDrive and move my data to my local drive on my computer. The next update they reinstalled OneDrive and started spamming me with warnings again!
That's not a feature, that's not even a bug. That's a goddamn racket.
I'm now finally using Linux, for the first time in my not-so-short life.

I imagine it's also hard to hold a smile while you're holding a corpse. That sounds like a "one or the other" type of situation tbh.
