Why It Was Almost Impossible to Make the Blue LED
Haven't watch the video yet, but I remember how impressed my step dad was with the blue LED when we got our PlayStation 2. I was like, yeah great whatever let's play games, at the time.

Is the sudden personality change as drastic as it reads?
Sudden switches like that could be a sign of a serious medical condition, mid 20s is I believe a common age for these things to kick in too.
I'd talk to the brother about it coming from an angle of concern.

What are some small minor things that annoy you in movies ?
Strange decisions with cinematography.
Fall of house Usher episode 1: Conversation between 2 people about a man we don't know is in a strange house. Next shot we have focused on a car pulling up and a slow reveal of someone leaving the car. But it's the same person as previous scene.
Just why? Why slow reveal the person in the scene just seconds before? We pull up to the house and don't focus on his face for his reaction OR the house itself for our own reaction. Instead we get the end of a car advertisment and some shoes.

For sure, record breaking profits never get passed on to the customer, if anything it pushes companies to see how much they can squeeze from nothing.
But hard times always fall on the customer.
Greed is evil.

I agree on the whole, but marriage was something from life I wanted to experience. Treating my friends and family to a great party was worth it. Although, mine was probably ten times cheaper than most.

Philosophy trek is best trek
Both can be good, but used carefully. The 2nd and 3rd season of the Orville had some of the best space action I've ever seen and gave me the same feelings as the dominion war in ds9. Discovery never had any space action that got me remotely excited.
But drumhead, measure of a man etc are crazy good too.

is there a point to an adult diagnosis?
The partner is thinking about getting evaluated after getting recently recommended. One of the more important factors for them is that they can potentially be prescribed medication that suits their needs better for their anxiety than the one they're already using.
It probably could be extended to other types of medication too.

Apparently, Tolkien's dwarven language just naturally works well with a Scottish accent. Earlier radio, tv, readings leant into this and other writings including fantasy dwarves followed suit.

The average car purchased in 2023 emits higher levels of carbon dioxide (CO₂) than its 2013 equivalent. This is due to the large proportion of SUVs in the mix, which tend to be bigger and heavier.

If you have literally no experience at all, I'd pick and choose some great standalone episodes to get started with.
Some ideas: TOS: Balance of terror/Space seed. TNG: Drumhead/Darmok. DS9: The House of Quark/Trials and tribulations (harder to find good standalone episodes as so many of the best are part of the main plot. VOY: Eye of the Needle/The Void.
The 2 parter DS9 and voyager opening episodes are both also pretty good places to start.

Gamers who have gamed for a long time
A lot of modern games definitely don't do story well. The amount of times I download a game for 10 mins of exposition before starting or not getting to play while the game tells rather than shows is outrageous.
The perfect game for me would start immediately and have any exposition happen via audio while being able to play the game.

I'm REALLY well read and I have a hard time finding new books to read. I need an audiobook for train ride->plane flight->bus ride tomorrow. Please halp!
A lot of sci Fi fans also get on well with Terry Pratchett. The audio books are really good, although I prefer Stephen Briggs who did the 2nd half to Nigel Planer. You can't go wrong with Going Postal, it doesn't rely on much from the earlier books, or Men at Arms if you wanted an earlier book in the discworld series.
If you wanted to stick to sci-fi, The Stars my Destination is one of my favorites, it's a modern count of Monte Cristo. Speaker for the dead is also one of my favorites, the sequel to enders game.

Plan the activity with a smaller group than you would want initially. Then invite others to an already organized event and rely on fomo to get people to go. Works great.
