What are some cool/decent PC games that are not on Steam?
Reply in thread
Yeah, that's the only issue. I just play it on PS5 but I know not everybody has/wants one. Sadly, we are the minority when it comes to the anti cheat given the playerbase in league & valorant.

Pushing wireless has been frustrating to me because of the fact that the batteries inside those tools will die sooner or later. Majority of the time, I am fine with being wired. The good news is that IEMs have evolved a lot over the past decade with great options even at $20 that include detachable cables from the earbuds. What's even cooler is that you can choose for your audio connectivity to be USB-C for those that miss the 3.5mm jack. I'll provide a $20 example below:

CachyOS Is Now the Most Popular Desktop Distro on ProtonDB
Reply in thread
Nobara user here too. Glorious Eggroll was defending Lutris dev for using AI & the Nobara exclusive wallpapers right now are AI generated by GE.
I personally plan to distro hop after reading GE's post. AI bubble can't pop if these people are actively supporting and using them.

Sadly, too large to die. 99% of content creators willl stick to what the majority use. I'm just using Grayjay (Android) & Invidious (desktop) to watch all my content.

Some friends of mine also think Twitter just has better content to consume when scrolling through. Too comfy & don't care enough about who runs it & the issues to jump off. It gives them what they want.

So flimsy and unreliable that my past year with one confirms I'll never go back to gas. It also helped with the power outage yesterday.
Would like to learn how to cut it from the internet though.

Tekken 8 Patch 2.00 Released, Packing Major Character Changes
Reply in thread
Every competitive player in every fighting game has a meltdown over huge patches. Tekken veterans haven't been happy with how aggressive Tekken 8 is compared to 7. Sounds like the new patch has many buffs making characters even more powerful to run their gameplan.

If anybody wants to play Third Strike online, you can for free through Fightcade. Wouldn't recommend it for newcomers to the genre. Street Fighter 6 has plenty of tools to help newcomers.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater teases new announcement with countdown
Go download fan mods like THPSPro or THUG PRO which gives you all the content of this soon to be released collection & more. I think we've all seen enough vile bs from Activsion Blizzard to safely say that our money is better spent elsewhere.
Or sail the high seas since Meta said it is "legal".

Why GM’s CEO is still betting on electric vehicles (and racing)
Can GM release some sedan EVs then? GM only sells SUVs & Trucks in the EV department. I know all the vehicle companies are incentivised to go bigger which sucks. Regardless, I went with Hyundai since they actually had a sedan.

Oat milk w/ coffee: ya or na?

Is it because Planet Oat doesn't have oils as one of their first 3 ingredients? It's why I've switched over to Planet Oat after being on other brands. I also grab the 4 ingredient Oatly nowadays.

I have an older comment regarding GE supporting AI use by Lutris dev & using AI for Nobara's wallpapers. I also felt like Nobara wasn't too stable. GE has done a lotta work for that hobby project, but I've switched to CachyOS since & it's been a much smoother experience.

Depends on your needs. Plenty of youtube videos lurking out there about switching to Linux. If you know how to install an OS then great! The biggest barriers are understanding the software you need & finding the alternatives that work on Linux. Your best bet is to just jump in & start researching.
I went with an easy pick up and use distro for gaming (Nobara). Not a power user & have been learning the quirks along the way. I've heard Linux Mint is easy to pick up and use.
I installed Fedora on a laptop for someone who only knows how to use a PC for work like browsing websites, printing stuff, joining zoom calls. They have had no trouble with it. However, I update it myself as I've read the documentation for that.

I've heard a lot of health benefits from mushrooms like Lion's Mane. Mainly, mushrooms you won't find at your supermarket.
