You’re allowed to not be ready to do something like that even if it would make your son happy. It’s okay to put up boundaries for your mental health.

Your rectum is fairly airtight is my guess, boxes not so much. Can’t believe that’s a sentence I’ve now typed.

Anyone that declares that he himself is recklessly brave doing anything is a self-promoting ass.

Discontent with Sen. John Fetterman bursts into the streets among Pa. Democrats

I feel like maybe he hasn’t and we just prescribed things about him that were never real. He’s got a few progressive type positions (lgbt, legal weed), but beyond that I’m not sure he was ever the progressive we thought he was. We just cloaked him in things and he never disabused us of it until now where the rubber meets the road. I’m greatly disappointed, but the lesson for me is to look closer at people rather than “thinking” their beliefs align with my values.

Came here to use the letter K too. Travel, vacations, all the leisure things are picking towards those left with enough money to pay for it. It’s expensive being poor.

Progress?
What’s the context here? I quickly did a DuckDuckGo search and didn’t see any headlines out of Connecticut that hit this topic?

Mrs Bizzle asked why I got a book about bread
If you ever have a chance to travel to Germany, there’s a museum devoted to “brotkultur” (bread culture) in Ülm. They have an entire wing related to bread as propaganda and how bread has always figured into the political sphere.

How much would a regular catholic priest be allowed and or have available alcohol for personal recreational + official drug use?
So a Catholic priest isn’t forbidden from consuming alcohol or other drugs, provided they were legal wherever he lives. However, he would get in trouble and perhaps defrocked if his behavior while imbibing did not reflect the morals and attitudes of the Catholic Church. I’ve seen in my childhood many a priest having a beer in the beer tent during the church festivals or enjoying wine or bourbon at a dinner with a church family. It’s expected of him to act responsibly at all times, so perfectly fine for him to do so if he can be a responsible adult about it.

Right! Ask for an outline of a cover letter and let your voice compose it. As someone that went through the hiring side of it for a smaller company, wading through AI slop is pretty frustrating. Also having gone through a job change in the recent past, it can feel like an uphill battle to keep filling out applications ad naseum. In the same vein, do you want to work for a company that happily misses good candidates through bad ai filtering? That speaks a lot about the organization right there.
