some people aren't there for a conversation, but are just waiting for the right moment to say the thing they want to say to get the brain chemicals they reward themselves with once they say it.

I feel sorry for the orcas.

Most of the right side of the "parking lot" is a public boat launch and RV Park/Dump location not related to SeaWorld. Another part of it is walled off facility storage (it has shipping containers) and SeaWorld company vehicle parking.

Everything to the left of the SeaWorld is unrelated parking for other businesses (one of them being a SeaWorld corporate building) and a marina.

Still a shitload of parking, but a very very misleading Facebook or whatever bullshit post

House cancels rest of votes for week after GOP floor rebellion

Republican women in our house of Representatives are demanding maternity remote work for themselves. Twelve weeks. That's twelve weeks more than Americans get.

So they'll have time off with their babies. And still get paid. With their free taxpayer funded Healthcare.

Leading the charge was Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla. She was in the freedom caucus, who opposed giving special treatment to women. But Luna had a baby last year. So guess what's suddenly important to her now? She left the freedom caucus.

I fucking LOATHE Republicans. Their brains are broken that they can't imagine something unless it happens to them. They're too stupid or selfish, I'm not sure which. Pretty sure it's stupid.

Shots fired into insurance CEO’s Oregon home

If you're bored. I'm drunk and will tell you stuff!

The city of Lake Oswego, where this CEO lives in Oregon, gets it's name from... A big lake. Called Lake Oswego.

Now, Oregon has some fun and cool laws that are fun and cool, like every "navigable waterway" in Oregon, since statehood, must have public access. So for example all of the coastline in Oregon is open to the public, even though it's windy, cold, and miserable 70% of the year. But in the summer, there's tons of space to find quiet, beautiful peace.

Lake Oswego, however, is in CONSTANT BATTLE with the state because the city is always trying to find loopholes to privatize the lake to the super wealthy people who live on the lake. Their lawyers, no joke, argues that "the public can see the lake. That's access". They even have a fucking stone plaque that says "private lake, stay on the sidewalk" at the adjacent park.

It's still in court. Right now, people can swim only in one of the parks. So it counts as access. But the people pursuing the most recent lawsuit are kayakers I think. So ongoing?

Anyhow, Lake Oswego is pretty much the richville of Portland, Oregon suburbs and wants to kick out the plebs. Their Target is fancy.

For locals, there's a bad ass bar there I know the owners that's fucking great with the best music in the state! Private message for that info. But fuck that city either way. The owners don't live there.

Understandable, carry on.

The video is typically titled "Aldrin punches conspiracy theorist" but it should include "Punches whiney, obnoxious, harassing moron" to help this guy find his place in history.

The cherry on top is that the court did not pursue assault charges citing that it was instigated. I read it as "deserved"

Arnold Palmer’s daughter says Trump’s speech was ‘unfortunate way to remember my dad’

She tore Trump apart. "Unfortunate" was absolutely the wrong headline. There's so much gold here, and they went for the safe word.

How about "Arnold Palmer was appalled by Trump, according to daughter"

“My father was very modest,” Peggy continued. “We’ve lost our sense of outrage in this country over just about everything, and I’m not sure that’s OK

My dad didn’t like people who act like they’re better than other people,” she said. "He didn’t like it when people were nasty and rude. He didn’t like it when someone was disrespectful to someone else. My dad had no patience for people who demean other people in public. He had no patience for people who are dishonest and cheat. My dad was disciplined. He wanted to be a good role model. He was appalled by Trump’s lack of civility and what he began to see as Trump’s lack of character.”
