I had to use bypass to get around the network part. Because for some reason it wouldn't let me go past that step, and it also doesn't offer static ip settings. We don't have dhcp for our main network.

It's even worse for notebooks. I had several new machines where Windows Setup didn't even have the required network drivers.

I'm rather thinking that hey want to make their slop machines the single source of truth. Much easier to get control over information, when all information is located in your own house.

Tbf, they were quite good. Yes, they did take in German scientists and hardware to boost heir rocket program, but they mainly used them to transfer knowledge, and then dumped most of those scientists. And after that, they had indeed several very impressive feats. Like that Venus probe thing. I think that one was one of the best.

Lol, kinda funny i found this thread just now. I just unsubbed from yet another Euro sub because it's being flooded with racists and other far-right propagandists. One of them even tried to use my own source against me, accusing me of "not reading it", and then quote the very thing that quite literally contradicted his point. He then accused me of "trolling" and blocked me when i mentioned his sad attempt at cherry picking.

It's kinda sad, since that's the page that helped me improve my English at least a little bit and connect to like-minded people. So many nice memories over the years.
