Reddit ruined it. Reddit just isn't reddit without RIF. I don't even wanna see what's going on there anymore. From what I've heard it's going downhill anyways.

It's a bit of self referencial humor. Like 15 years ago zuck did a live stream or something. On that Livestream he kept awkwardly talking about how much he loves sweet baby Ray's bbq sauce.

I think he did that because knows how detached he comes off as. He was a weirdo before he became a billionaire, and being a part of a separated class of society only made that worse. He also knows how everyone on earth thinks that he's a distrustful person. Plus he's just clearly not comfortable being on camera.

It was basically a failed attempt to come off as relatable and down to earth by sharing something that he has a passion for. Which apparently is grilling. I get it, I like grilling too. But I won't ever be tasked with trying to use that one interest I have as my entire public personality.

He tried something like that before. The reason he wears plain looking tshirts and pants is because it makes him come off as "like one of us" and that he remembers that he came from nothing like the rest of us. But then a few years ago it came out that the black Tshirts he wears costs like $400 each and so does the rest of his outfit.

Is it really that bad over there now? I haven't been since RIF died

Back in 2010 my best friend at the time sent me an entire pirated copy of need for speed most wanted in a zip file through Skype. It took the entire day for it to send and then it took my weak ass computer until I woke up the next morning to unzip the folder the game was on. I remember waking up and being overjoyed that it was at 97% completion. I only had to wait another few minutes for it to finish.

I still have that exe to this day. It's basically impossible to play the game otherwise. I actually store the exe on my phone since it has so much storage and it's easy to move it over thanks to USB 3.0 and higher. I do that with a lot of games actually.

What's it like over there on Reddit now? Has it changed at all in the last few days?

I mean this post has 1200 upvotes. Considering most people don't engage with the voting system that makes me think that there's a decent amount of people here. At the very least it means there's a lot of people here who engage with the community. More come every day. If this post were on Reddit, it would be on r/all right now. That's not bad for a community with a fraction of the users.

I think that in 10 years this place will be doing alright. I think the growth that's happened in the last few months won't last, but I think that growth will still steadily happen. The reddexodus doesn't happen every day but with most social media platforms shitting their geriatric pants more and more lately, I think a consistent flow of refugees will come here.

Maybe I just have a bad opinion but I've thoroughly enjoyed almost all of his movies. Not every movie needs to be a masterpiece. Sometimes it's nice to just watch something that's relatable.

Because of how they're packaged, there is no left and right twix. Left and right are relative terms. My left could be your right and someone else's up or down. Before you open a package of twix each twix bar is in a superposition of left and right. They only gain cardinality when you tear open the packaging. Both sides of the packaging are designed to easily open so there is no objective top or bottom to the packaging.

Anon is crazy because he thinks that he can guess which twix is which as if being a left or right twix were an objective term. Sort of like if someone handed you two completely identical copies of a photograph and a marker and told you to highlight the differences, and then you found some differences.

I think reddit gentrifying is a great way to putting it. Even if the 3PAs weren't killed, reddit had a lot of issues. I was getting really sick of the 300k karma farma bots regurgitating content all the time. I much prefer to see regular people regurgitating content on a smaller scale with no competitive ranking. Karma was cool when it wasn't farmed like plasma on a stallion ranch.

You have to consider the 10 years that it took for 2019-2022 to happen.
