A few years ago, I started a sentence in my class with "When I was born". A student instantly chimed in and said "What in the 19's?" And I thought in my head, of course you idiot, everybody is born in the 19's. It still haunts me.

I think an often overlooked part of the MAGA demographic is that it's comprised of two large groups: often rural, working class, conservative voters who vote on emotional or single issue areas like abortion, 2nd amendment, or military support and wealthy upper class business owners who benefit from reduced economic and environmental regulation. It seems Republicans in power always seem to pass legislation that benefits the later while screwing over the former, and yet they keep voting for Republicans anyway.

I'm not inherently opposed to the Senate as a concept, I think it can serve as an important check/balance, but for it to exist while the house has been capped and stripped of its offsetting powers is completely asinine. I also think that attempting to get anything done in the house with 1,000 members may also be unproductive however. Perhaps capping the house to a reasonable number of representatives while also adjusting voting power to proportionally match the most current census could work. Some representatives may cast 1.3 votes while others may cast .7 votes.

This is how I learned to stop misspelling necessary: your shirt has one collar and two sleeves.

And in a similar but completely different way, the fish are being added to massive bodies of water. Home aquariums are minute in comparison, so they can't balance out chemical swings as easily and are much more prone to higher levels of nitrites and other toxic chemicals. The larger the body of water, the more stable the water quality.

I always assumed the lighter color of a giraffe was the default or background color and the spots were abnormally dark. This is throwing me off because the spotless one is the same color as the spots would be.

I can't say I would -- I know little of Hunter Biden's policy stances --, but I find it very far fetched to believe Hunter would get the nomination over another democratic politician, so it seems like the argument is pointless.
