Closed game studio returns to un-live service its game with community servers before shutdown: 'We don't believe Deceive Inc. should quietly disappear'

You are correct, and to expand upon that, it also shows they learned from their mistake and are trying to make good on that implied promise 🤞

What is Something you are Proud to have Made?
I don't have anything specific to show. But I am an aspiring author who took an old English Creative Writing assignment and turned it into a 16 book epic decades later. I should be ready for publication by the end of this year.

Valve releases drivers, notes to make Windows work on Steam hardware, but refuses to support it - doesn’t offer support for ‘Windows on Steam Hardware,’ gaming company provides resources ‘as is’
To me it makes sense. Windows is finicky to begin with. And through the lens of Valve and SteamOS, Windows is basically 3rd party, and many software companies don't support 3rd party "add-ons".

[F] [OC] Is anyone alive here? This isn't spam; I don't see any traffic in these communities, and someone could revive them... like me.
I don't think it's a dead community, but most of the people won't leave reddit to join the fediverse. As with most nsfw communities here, it's mostly just reddit links. There aren't many OPs here and it is a welcome site to see one. You are doing the divine work.

To be fair, I have found some really cool products on Amazon, but then there is no website for the company and it's all through Amazon exclusively. I tend to avoid those "shops" no matter how cool it is. Thankfully there aren't many like that. I think I ran across only 3 so far.

A lot of Anti-AI people seem very illogical in their concerns and how they address it and I am tired of people pretending that is normal

I agree with this sentiment. But to be fair, I do use AI tools for writing analysis in my novels as a human editor is far beyond my budget. I just don't let it write for me.
