Going opposite directions at night, what should men do if approaching a woman?
Take out your phone and pretend to look at it while you side-eye them aggressively. Everyone loves that!

This, it's called a manja. You'll go hike to a Buddhist shrine in the mountains and the place is covered in swastikas.

Is it creepy when lemmings go digging through post votes to see who voted how on different posts and comments?

They're probably scrolling on mobile and did it accidentally.

Hey, I'm just here to blame the victim, thanks for reading!

Trump secretly sends thousands of horses to their deaths: 'Slaughter in plain sight'

Treat them like we treat we treat wild hogs. Wild horses are feral pets to the US, rather than pests.

Wow that number seems crazy high, but i looked it up again and numbers are pretty fucking high. In 2019 the fed started giving away 1,000 split in two payments if you adopt one and that alone doubled the rates.

They gotta cull these things. Horses breed like crazy, it would be easier if the US didn't treat them like wild pets and require the weird plausible deniability.
Almost nobody wants a wild horse, they're just gonna cull 99.9% anyway. And if you don't cull them they become diseased pests like deer.

Both professor x and his sister had their powers in utero. Nightcrawler famously developed his powers pre-puberty, he was zipping around both physically mutated (from birth) and his teleportation as a young child. Generally mutants develop powers at puberty, but that's just a rule of thumb.

They put A.I. in my truck. It warns me of everything I do wrong verbally. It reports everything to HQ. It is from a company called Solera. I take offense to this. Am I wrong? What can I do? Anything?

Trucking is so funny. There is an adversarial relationship between the drivers and the office, which you can see in this comment.
The industry is trying to solve safety issues caused by the nature of long haul driving and maintenance of profit in logistics by companies that use their services.
Trucking used to be a way a person could provide for their family, remain independent, and feel in control. Now, trucking is an industry where you are trapped in a moving computer designed primarily to reduce the insurance rates of the company that employs them, because their business practices and demands were so dangerous, individuals truckers had to drive more hours, get paid less for those hours, and literally drive themselves, and other motorists around them when they crashed, to death.
Then they blame the truckers as they race to bottom in hiring. Don't even get me started on nafta. Your industry sucks for the employees who are necessary to keep the economy moving.

168 children died when Trump bombed that school.
You think she cares, she strikes me as the type of person would strangle 100 brown babies with her own hands if it meant her child could get a slight advantage.
Think of if Iran had done this, or Russia, what would the news look like, or say. Or think of the sheer number of families and lives that were affected by that truly horrific act (or the sports facility that got hit by the new tungsten cluster munitions we were testing on kids). The anger that was created, the animosity that is the only thing some people have left. This isn't a thing that happened and just goes away. This was an underwater avalanche that has sent a tsunami. The damage will be impossible to avoid.

You can tell this one really hurts us (us being Americans, not you and me) because of the reactions. You have someone on this thread threatening Greenland with CIA drugs.
Like we look bad enough without this shitass reaction people are having in these threads.

Former Rep. Katie Porter launches run for California governor
All she has to do is tell me she's not going to fuck over consumers with regards to solar to protect regionally monopolistic power conglomerates who are literally killing people due to old equipment in wild fire corridors. Fuck Gavin Newsome.

Anarchist Take On LW front page, oh damn
This take isn't even controversial, it's just true. Same with the privileges temporarily given by the supreme court, same when they called people "essential workers" when they meant "expendable human capital".

Karl Pilkington was a mainstream “lolcow”
Karl Pilkignton is an eccentric dude, but he's not stupid. He was head of production at XFM when he met Ricky Gervais, the person he was on screen on Idiot was part of a character he developed while doing Ricky Gervais' radio show.
Yeah he's that person, the character is based on him cause Ricky and Steve Merchant found his behavior hilarious. But he was already successful when he started it, and all the shit about him not waiting to come back was for more seasons was BS. He had revenue share from the beginning, that show was stupid business for them and Sky One.
You can see his real acting right after Idiot ended on Derek. Then he came back to Sky One to do more "Karl" work on Moaning Life. Then he did a truly scripted version of his Karl character on Sick of It.
Trust me, he's is and was in on it.

Weed is super duper illegal in SK, they've increased the number of weed related arrests year over year. There was even a huge crackdown at the end of last year.
