"I can excuse supporting genocide but I draw the line at infidelity"

Fuck everyone at h3

There was a time where I enjoyed his content for being honest and not being silenced by others.

But that was like 10 years ago. Apparently, people turn into big assholes after a while on the declining curve.

There was a time where there was a big trend of Generic White Guy YouTuber who made praising their wife their whole personality. It seems we are learning every single one of them was actually a cheater

ooh you mean the try guys person, who keeps praising his wife every sentence, and then ends up being a cringey cheater.

They must, i was reading the post and having dejavu.

I honestly expected a slowpoke meme at the end.

There's also Lily Allens (ex)husband, John Mulaney, Jason Sudeikis, a bunch others I forget

Ethan Klein is a fucking troll too. Can't imagine that guy honestly thinking he can do better.

I will give him one bit of credit though. It's smart that he's keeping his mouth shut about the whole thing.

Wow, I had to look up who this is and you sure were not kidding.

Yup. There probably hasn't been a single time in their entire married life that someone didn't see the two of them together and think: "How did he manage THAT?"

They met when he was unemployed and went on a government-funded holiday to Israel that included a mixer with female IDF soldiers, and as everyone knows, IDF soldiers are trained to be horrible, so maybe being in the IDF and therefore constantly being near other IDF soldiers just really lowered her standards.

A lot of his charm was likely his personality. But the whole cheating thing kinda killed that. Plus I don't find his politics charming at all.

5

His personality was also just shitting on other people. It was appreciated over a decade ago when he shat on shitty people, but then he could not keep his ass shut

Open relationships don’t require a license. I don’t understand humans

They had been married for 20 years. He probably did not dare ask her "hey do you want to open up the relationship? I'd like to fuck our employee who sort of has the same features as you"

Open relationships dont require a license, but they require consent.

Has-Been does something scandalous. Internet ensures the internet that the Has-Been is not relevant by gossiping about them, their associates, their family and friends, which apparently nobody cares about.

I think you don't understand the meaning of "has-been". A has-been is someone whose glory days a far behind them, they peaked ages ago and they know it, yet they struggle to cling to fame and relevancy. It is pretty common for people to talk about has-beens when something big happens to them - because they were someone once, so they are remembered.
Ethan Klein was a massively succesful youtuber, then he had an incredibly succesful podcast and then scandal after scandal and drama and split up piled up, one thing after another. He left the common public sphere, stopped being influential and became yet another niche microcelebrity sustained by a small crowd of hangers-on. Like Andy Dick.

I think the term has-been is totally appropriate, I would go as far as to say he was also a nobody?

You state that he was successful at something and dwindled. And in terms of success, If these people were somehow a peak of humanity…that’s a dire outlook.

They are just mortals who got too much screen time. Don’t see why they are worshipped TBH.

If these people were somehow a peak of humanity

They weren't and I did not say they were. To say someone "peaked" is pretty common parlance, there's often talk of people who "peaked in high school". This does not mean someone is the "peak of humanity" and it's honestly odd you'd think it would mean that.

That's one of my favourite insults.

Young (18) bartender threw it at a bloke drinking in the bar I managed; a typical boomer type with too much money and pride.

Took massive offence and tried to get the young feller fired.

Honestly if you take offence to that insult there's probably a decent element that's true.

TBF you are the one correcting others judgment and terms for them. Chill and just accept not everyone likes these people. It’s not personal. Myself I don’t understand the simping for internet has been’s.

I think you responded to the wrong comment? This makes no sense as a follow-up to what I wrote
